Even M is a little wide
" First off, I REALLY like this shoe. Smart looking and very comfy. I ordered 7.5 M and it was too wide - I have a very average foot. So I ordered 7.5 N and compared the fit. I chose to keep the N shoe even though the left shoe was a little snug compared to the right shoe. I figure the more I wear the more it will stretch, and then I'll be glad for my choice. If the M stretched (it IS leather, after all), then it would be too big to keep on my foot. The length is surprisingly a little short. I guess I could order the 8 N just to see ... . It would be so much easier if they carried this shoe in the store, but this one you have to order. Propet is a great brand - good craftsmanship and nice looking. I can count on this shoe wearing well and looking good the whole way. BTW, the velcro closures really hold - almost too hard to separate. And the lines of the shoe look so good when the velcro is left exactly where manufactured that I am not inclined to adjust. If someone were not as silly as me then they might make the necessary adjustment to make the M fit just fine.

Size Up
" This is a great looking sandal, but ... The top diagonal strap makes the fit VERY snug -- TOO snug. The catch is that they do not come in half sizes. The 7 that I ordered was probably OK for length, but I couldn't get it on so not entirely sure. (I scored it on the "short" side since there wasn't an option for "I'm not sure.") The 8 would be necessary but it might be too long. So sorry the 7 didn't fit and I had to take these back because DSW was all sold out in all sizes and colors! Must be very popular.

Fun for me
" I like this shoe because it's a new style for me. I know the toe loop has been around for a long time, but I always thought it would irritate my foot between my toes. So I never had this kind of style before. Based on my experience with only 2 shoes, this brand (b.o.c.) seems to run either just too short in a 7 and just too long in an 8, and there are no half sizes. Not a statistically sound test, but it's 2 for 2 for me. I got the 8 and even though it is a little long, and I am determined to like the shoe. It is handsome and well made. Even though it is just a wee bit longer than I would prefer, I can wear it without skipping the toe.

No in-between sizes
" I selected a size up (8) because it didn't come in 7.5. The 7 was just too short. The large band over the top of my foot in the 8 was too big, and the overall length was just a bit too long. But dogonit, I really liked the look of this shoe, so I bought it. Well, I kept skipping the toe, and I couldn't keep the shoe on unless I squeezed my toes to hold on with every step. The store was very cooperative with the return, especially since I had barely worn the shoe and only in my house on carpet and tile.
