Just 'OK'
" These shoes are more off white and taupe striped canvas pattern than grey. They are warm toned, not cool. The laces appear to be functional in the pictures, but they are purely decorative and do not help to tighten the loose shoe rim and top around your foot so they pucker when you move. They are very short and don't come up very high on the sides of your foot so forget about wearing any kind of 'invisible' sock because it will show. Although generally comfortable, they are not good for all day wear as they do have rough edges in the tongue area that shift around and rub up against the top of your feet.They also do not have a supportive shape and feel boxy and flat. You will need insoles with these if you choose to buy them or don't plan on wearing long or for any kind of 'activity'.

Cheap is as Cheap Does
" These fell apart after the first wear. They are wider than normal and the 'cute' fabric detail at the toe wasn't stitched down so it buckled and looked sloppy. The manufacturing on the left and right shoe was inconsistent and didn't look like they were a matched set. The 'insole' was thin, poorly glued to the inside of the shoe (coming loose after one wear) and practically non-existent. They have ZERO support and are pretty much useless. If you're looking for cheap 'one season' slippers to shuffle around indoors in, these are for you.

CHEAP Looking and Feeling
" Wow! for $70 I was expecting a little better quality!
I know they aren't 'real' leather but the synthetic doesn't even come close to looking even like low quality leather, and it's so thin and flimsy it feels like it will tear, especially since getting them on and off is a little difficult and requires some tugging and/or lacing and unlacing every time..
The sewn parts have loose threads all over the place and the soles also had lots of plastic bits falling off. It looks like they never went through a decent quality control.
Now, on top of that, they don't even have an insole! They are so hard and uncomfortable to walk in and don't offer even the slightest contoured support or cushioning of any kind. I could literally strap two blocks of wood onto my feet and they would feel the same.
The only plus is that they can adjust to fit my athletic calves and skinny ankles because of the real lacing that goes all the way up.
Do yourself a favor and skip these. If you really want them then I highly recommend taking the trip to a store and seeing them in person before you make a decision!

Different
" I was looking for a heelless flat that had some structure and wasnt athletic looking but still provided more support than so many of the current slip-ons out there. This shoe is definitely atypical. It's not boring, fits well all around and has a durable and comfortable sole. The shimmer of the material can dress up an outfit but is also subtle enough to go with something more casual. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.
