Impossible to get on!
" First of all - the pictures don't do these justice - they are so much more amazing looking in person - the iridescent leather is really striking. Unfortunately, that is where the happiness ends. I bought these for a family member and had to return them immediately - they were nearly impossible for him to get on! The zippers on the sides appear to be mostly non-functional, as it was impossible to slide them up or down, and without that, trying to get anything wider than a narrow foot into the laced area was an exercise in futility. Perhaps other people have a hint or an inside secret for getting into these shoes? - but for my young relative, it was just a disappointment.

" Nothing like a red Converse to brighten your day! Love this with overalls, rolled jeans, skirts, even with a straight leg and a blazer. Red is striking without being overly trendy (red has always been The New Black, no?) Gonna have fun with these this summer!

Why did they have to screw up a great boot?
" Looks like a great boot - but oh, my goodness, who on earth at Charles David thought it was a good idea to put a seam INSIDE the boot right on the top of the foot, sewing the lining pieces together? God help you if you have a bunion, hammertoes or any kind of foot issue! Really not well thought-out - and sadly returned.

Stupid comfortable!
" Cork footbed forms to your foot like a $200 european specialty shoe. It may not be the prettiest shoe, but when you want comfort and price, boy, this is the one. Perfect for beach or land. I bought a size10 (my regular size); it is a little long (something I've never really encountered before). I would recommend sizing down.
