a re-design?
" I've been getting a new pair of these every couple of years for a while now, but this time around I found the fit to be a bit tighter to the point of being uncomfortable. The shoe looks slightly different and it now says "Memory Foam" on the insole pad. I was able to exchange them at a store for a pair a half size larger, and those are better, but I'm not yet convinced that they are as comfy as they used to be. Perhaps the memory foam still needs to be broken in.

very good cold weather shoe
" To be clear, this is not a boot and not meant for extensive walking in the snow. But if you need a nice casual shoe that you can wear out to dinner, a party or to the office in the winter months, this one fits the bill well. It fits snugly enough around the opening and is padded to keep the occasional drift of snow outside, but the shoe is perfectly roomy and comfortable. It makes no claim to be waterproof, so you might want to apply polish or a waterproofing spray to keep your feet dry if you find that snowy days are coinciding with your dinner dates a lot. If you like slip-on boat shoes in the summer, this is your winter option.
