Gorgeous Boot!

" These are beautiful boots! I searched high and low for a leather riding boot that's classic and beautiful with more than an inch heel. This is it! But, be aware, the calf circumference is not 14" as stated in the description, or at least not in the Size 8. In the Size 8, it is a little over 15" calf circumference and 15 1/2 " & 16 1/4" shaft height from the arch inside and outside respectively, so maybe this will help someone else. I'm 5'4" and have normal size calves (not super thin) and wanted a boot that doesn't flare around the top when worn and, unfortunately, these don't look right on me so I will be returning them. :( The only recommendation I might make to DSW is perhaps to list which size the boot measurements in the description were taken from as they tend to change slightly from size to size. This would be most helpful in trying to assess an accurate fit before purchasing. This is truly a beautiful boot and I so hoped it would be the one, but it's just not the right fit in the calf and perhaps even a little too tall for me in my size. Otherwise, it seemed very comfortable initially trying it on and it's well-made! A stunning boot! If the measurements work for you, I would highly recommend it! "
