Nice shoe, but probably not worth the $$
" First off, I LOVE Asics shoes. It is my number 1 brand of choice, so when I came across the Rebel, I was quite intrigued. At this pricepoint, I expected this shoe to be better than any other shoe in the Asics line. This was not to be. It is quite comfortable when wearing them, but running in them feels ... clunky. Far less cushion/bounce than my Nimbus. They feel heavier than I thought they would be also. I have yet to do a timed run in them, so MAYBE I'll be surprised, but I doubt it.

Very close to a great shoe.
" I like EVERYTHING about this shoe, except for one thing... I can't quite put my finger on it, but it feels a tad wide for some reason. It may have something to do with the material inside. It allows my sock to slip very easily against it, which is nice when putting on or taking off, but not when running or doing lateral movements.
