Just right
" Was looking for a navy dress sandle to hold me over until I can wear white. (Yes, I'm old school on fashion rules. No white before Easter. ) These are dressy, comfortable and the heel is just the right hight for work. I would have rather paid less for them but these were exactly what I wanted, when I wanted them.

GREAT BOOT
" Finally a boot that's ALL leather without man-made trimmings that wear out first. But what really sold me was the steel reinforced sole and arch. Ton's of boot have steel toe but try finding a steel shank! (I guess no one uses a shovel anymore.) Also it has a GREAT insole. I usually have to buy $20.00 insoles for new shoes. Looked at comparable work boots upwards of $100.00 and they didn't have these features. Good looking as well.

Beautiful in Brown
" Beautiful boot. The brown color is very rich. I like that the height is lower than most boots but higher than a bootie - makes it very versitle. I could tell it would be a comfortable boot if the fit was right. Unfortunately, I paid attention to the reiviews and bought a half size bigger. It was a half size too large. I would have exchanged it for the correct size if I had found it in the store. Instead I went with something that fit my needs better but wasn't nearly as pretty.

" I bought the taupe and I loved the light upper with the dark sole. Was amazed how comfy it was for such a tall heel. However, I didn't feel like it was the sturdiest shoe. Admittedly, I'm not used to stacked platforms. And I thought the light suede would show dirt like crazy (they looked a little soiled right out of the box) so I returned them.

Pretty but not for me
" Nice looking boot/shoe but I had to return because I thought from the reviews it might run small. It didn't. Even if it were the right size I could see how it could rub at the back of the ankle and might bug you.

TOO BAD
" My boyfriend has been wanting a trail running shoe from Timberland ever since he discovered them. He wears a 9.5 to a 10 depending on the shoe. He tried on a 9.5 a couple of months ago in the store but he said there was an area on his foot where it pinched. I thought it was just too small and when I saw the size 10 on line, I thought it would be perfect. It was roomier but still pinched in the same area. They looked great and we've alway loved Timberland boots because they're so durable but could't make these work.
Kudos to DSW for free shipping for premier members and returns to store. It's the only reason I buy on line. "

Trendy but different
" Really like this winter boot. Living in Texas where we don't have seriously cold weather for very long, I didn't want to invest a lot so this boot is perfect. Great price for White Mountain!
Because of a review I read and because I have a foot that's slightly swollen due to a surgery, I bought a half size bigger than I normally wear. It works great for me but feels a half size bigger so I think their sizes are true. A thick sock will take up the extra so no worries even when the swellings gone. Can't have a perfect score until I see how durable it is. Can't wait to show off how cute. "
