Love em but order 1/2 size larger.
" These shoes are very nice and well constructed. They are a little tight around the opening, but look so good I will put up with it! I wouldn't wear these to dance, or walk for hours, myself, but for a few hours they are tolerable. Just a little pinching, hoping they will stretch out. I cannot wear a sock with them, but thin hose worked fine. "

The footbed angle is very high for my arch.
" These are very cute shoes, but the angle is too high for my arch. I am returning these shoes. Nothing wrong with them, they just don't fit MY foot. If you can wear high shoes, have a narrow foot and short toes, these may be perfect for YOU, but I would recommend a 1/2 size larger otherwise. "

Cuter than CUTE!
" Okay, this is a very cute boot. It is well constructed. The opening for the calf is adequate for my larger calf. They are not that comfortable, as the foot bed is stiff. The top of the boot around the leg is also stiff. I love the swingy fringe and it looks awesome with tights. I would have bought a 1/2 size larger though, they are short for an 8 and my tootsies are a little cramped. I am hoping they will stretch a bit with some wearing. "

Everything is NARROW, but what a cutie!
" I had to give these boots to a friend for Christmas, so all is not lost. She says very comfy, she usually wears a 7 and this 8 fit her perfect. So I would buy a size up. The opening is narrow, forget it if you have a big calf, I couldn't even get my leg in it and I usually wear an 8 in Bearpaw. She reports it is very warm and wears them without socks. Nice boot, well constructed, but not for my big ole leg! "

This boot ROCKS except for....
" The leather is soft. The tassles are sturdy and swingy, nothing cheap about this boot. There are anti-skid pads on the bottom, and thank goodness; it would be easy to slip otherwise as there is no tread. They are stylish and trendy, and fit totally true to size on my foot. There are two small problems. First, there is a wad of leather inside, at the heel, which I suppose is to pad your foot so it's not just up against the boot leather. When I put my foot in, I really have to work it to get it over the rim of this pad. The second problem is that while it is tall enough to be truly over the knee for me, the opening is simply too small. Now, here is how much I like these boots...I am gonna work out, walk and lose some poundage so I can wear them, hehehe. Do not fool yourself like I did...these boots are cute, but if you are heavy in the legs, they wont do much to minimize that! My poor legs look like sausages and forget ever wearing them with tights or tucking anything into them. If you are skinny, these are darn hot and you will look fantastic! "

Not My Cuppa Tea
" This shoe is probably good for skinny women with skinny legs and short feet, but did not work for me. It made my leg look chunky. The length was a bit short so the rim around the back of the heel feels uncomfortable, even in bare feet without socks. Now, I have a fat little foot. This shoe is going to be okay if your foot is narrow. I got a size 8, which is what I usually wear, but did not like it well enough to exchange it for a larger size. The blue color is pretty and matches well with the photos on the website. If you feel a little "iffy" about it, whether looks or comfort, there are other shoes that would work better, but if you are going to go for it, try it in a half-size up...the DSW exchange and return policy makes it easy if it doesn't work for you! Wish it would rain...
" Got these for working in the garden and greenhouse, but I am tempted to get a cushy insert and take them to town, because they are super cute. The are slightly narrow, length was true to size for my size 8 foot. These babies are made of rubber, sweaty leg or foot is to be expected. I wear a thin sock and its all good. I would suggest getting a gel insert if you decide to wear them for any length of time, they dont have a huge amount of support inside. The calf opening is smaller than I have experienced with other rubber boots, but my fat little leg fits in there fine. It's a little uncomfortable when I am kneeling, the rubber top doesn't "give" or stretch at all, of course. My husband loves them, too bad they don't make these for dudes! "

Deliciously Comfortable
" These shoes are smashing, I own 5 pairs of the Shape-Ups. My husband has two pairs and we look for reasons to wear them! People always ask us about them when we are together. I cannot say whether they shape anything up, but they look good, feel great and are very easy to wear all day. The athletic Skechers shoes are true to size and perhaps even a teeny bit long AND wide...which is good for wearing an athletic sock with them. Hubby and I give a big thumbs up for our Skechers Shape Ups! "

Short, Narrow but OH SO CUTE! Order 1 size UP!
" My fat little foot cannot easily get into the foot portion of the boot because it cannot work around the bend from boot to shoe portion. Once I horned it in, the shoe portion is VERY narrow and short. The inside is super-thick with warm fluff. My calves are not skinny-minnies, but the boots did fit okay over tights. No way can you tuck jeans into these boots unless you are 14 years old and 90 lbs. Now...here is the deal. I LOVE the look of these boots. So I am exchanging for the next size up. I normally wear a 7.5 in most shoes, and an 8 in Bearpaws, but these were the exception; I need size 9. I suspect that if you order one size up, they may work for you. I will update this review when I get my new size 9's. "

Cute boots...some small issues with them.
" Bought these for the greenhouse. Very cute and good for the job. Thick and sturdy construction. These are not for walking around in. They dont have much of a sole or support. They run narrow. They smell terrible, like industrial product when opened but I let them air out and they were fine. Buy at least 1 size bigger. I just got these to slip in and out of when I work out in the greenhouse. You cannot put a wet foot in or get a sweaty foot out easily, so buying a larger size will help. Very thin wicking socks made the experience better all the way around. I would recommend this shoe for a garden shoe or rainy day boot to get you from the car to work and then change into work shoes, but I would not wear them for hours and hours. They make a fat foot look thin, though! Lots of room around the top for a larger calf, for all that the foot bed is so narrow and shorty. "

I am in LOVE
" I bought 8.5 altho I usually wear 8. Plenty of room. Kinda wide, but I wanted to wear socks. Fit perfect. Dark color means don't get dirty as fast. I am not a skinny woman and there is plenty of calf space and room around the top to tuck in tights and even lightweight trousers. They seem to collapse a little around the ankle, so I store them with paper inside to keep them upright (normal for high suede boots - no problem). They are WARM. I am waiting for the cold weather to return to I can find reason to wear them again. I walked over 1 mile during a concert up and down hills on concrete, they were great. Wouldn't recommend walking on rocks; the sole is rounded, after all. "

These Boots Are Incredible for Me.
" I bought these slouchy boots on a whim and they look great with my black summer capris, in Arizona, here in what we call Autumn. They are wide at the top.; you may not need a wide calf size with them. If you are 180 lbs. with wide calf, order wide. I am 175 with average calf for my size and there is PLENTY of room! Gotta use your intuition here! These boots are so comfortable I cannot believe it. It is like I am wearing a tennis shoe. The height is not too much for my old lady muscles and I look longer and leaner wearing them. My husband likes them too, they look daring to us both, while providing plenty of toe-box (I have Great Toe) and good length. I wear socks with them; I would not suggest hose or slick surface; they are high enough you gotta have a little to grab with while you walk. In any case, I would not explore a town with them or wander in San Francisco on hills until you know how they work for you. I will say I have been to 6 hour gigs with my musician husband and did not suffer, looked stylish and walked with ease. I am 50 years old. I will bet if you are younger, with stronger legs and feet, you will end up feelin' fine! "

Do Not Expect Support and You Will be Fine
" This slipper is more than very okay for a generic slipper gift. It cannot offend with it's flat sole design; buy any size close+ to your gift recipient, it will work...anyone can wear this warmy slipper while hanging at home watchin' TV! If you want a slipper to hang out in, without thought of support, they are fine and stylish with the hanging little balls. Tuck your PJ pants in and style on! Buy one size bigger, they wont look awkward if you wear a fat sock to stay warm; you will look cool. The usual Rocket Dog sole of short instep problems is not here: this one has no or little indentations; purely flat, it will not offend anyone, although, as I said in the subject line: do NOT expect any arch support. You cannot wear these to walk in; it is for home only. But seriously, for looks and fun with your fave PJ pants, you cannot beat them! The little balls are so cute! "

You Must Have a Certain Instep for Rocket Dogs
" These boot were VERY cute! I wish I could have used them. But the insoles were not made for my homely foot. I honestly do not understand why I cannot wear these shoes. It seems that the molded instep is for people with different feet than I have. Obviously these boots are not "high" but still the instep is too short for me. Now, if you can usually wear high shoes with a short instep, they may work very well; I certainly know many young women who wear Rocket Dogs with no problem. But, I am 50 years old and I think my foot is used to a sole more comfortable and conforming now, with a big and wide stepping spot for my upper foot-pad, by my toes. I took them back. I cannot say they were poorly made, or had any problem; I think the only issue is that I don't usually wear a shoe with this kind of short instep. But, order freely, DSW is very helpful and accommodating if you have any issues and it is always fun to get new things in your mailbox! I am very grateful for DSW's customer service. "

These Shoes Rock!
" My husband LOVES these shoes. He wears them at work in southern Arizona, on cement floors in a hot environment, then has to walk around outside on blacktop roads to get to the next building. He also wears them to 4-hour gigs, while carting around a 28 lb. piano accordion. They were worth every penny and help his lower back with the weight of the accordion. In spite of all this work...THEY STILL DO NOT STINK! WOOHOO! "

Hubby loves his Sketchers!
" They run true to size, are incredibly comfortable and he feels there is some muscle benefit, especially in the calves. There is one issue, and only one...he plays accordion, it weighs 28 lbs., and he has to be careful not to rock back too far on his heels! Even so, he still loves to wear these shoes on stage and at work, where he walks all around the top of a mountain on concrete. He has no complaints! They are sturdy and well made, as well as fashionable enough to use as gig shoes. "

Too short; there are no green sandals available.
" This sandal is WAY short for an 8. I wear size 8 with Sketchers brands; this sandal is so short my heel hangs off the back of it. It is also rather narrow. I have very short toes, still this shoe is smaller than any other Sketcher I own in a size 8. As for this website: I cannot utilize the arrows to indicate that they run short; the slide doesn't work; the shoes are shown green, which is the color I wanted...but no green are available so why are you showing green sandals when there are only brown available? I don't want to be a big complainer here, but this has not been a good experience. I am NOT going to pay for these to be returned, because you advertised it would be free exchanges, but why would I want to continue to try to buy shoes online that aren't as advertised and obviously do not run true to size for all others of that brand? So, there is 25.00 down the drain. I live 50 miles away from the nearest DSW, if I can get there in the next 2 months, I will exchange them, otherwise...I hope someone at Goodwill can use them. "
