Attractive and comfy...

" The toe box is VERY square, which I'm not sure I love and why it's not 5 stars, but it's a very nice, classic shoe, with interesting details. The navy is a darker navy, not too bright, which is exactly what I was looking for. Runs true to size (some VanElis run big on me). Very comfortable.

For me, it will be great with pants/suits/etc. for work. I would not wear them dresses/skirts - would be a little too matronly, in my opinion. "

Wish it had a zipper!

" I *heart* Aquatalias completely, and have more pairs than I will admit in public.

These were adorable and comfortable and I came *this close* to keeping them, but the lack of a zipper was a deal breaker. There's no way I would have been able to tuck anything into them properly, while pulling them up.

That said, they were pretty easy-on and easy-off. Not always easy with my very high instep.

If I were only going to wear them with skirts, I'd have kept them in a heartbeat, however the details are too nice not to show them off, and my jeans/pants would have covered them up.

Sadly, I returned them. Recommended for folks for whom my issue is not an issue. Would be great with leggings, jeggings, etc. - anything that won't give way when you pull up the boots. "
