Rather tall, not for a wide calf

" I ordered these and had to return them. They went up much higher than I anticipated for me (I'm 5'4") -- just over mid-calf, and I expected them to be a few inches shorter than that. The buckle opens the boot up, but not by much -- maybe half an inch? -- they were too narrow for my wide calf, so I couldn't even pull them up as tall as they were supposed to go, and I never would've been able to get pants into them.

The pattern is very cute, and the foot itself was very comfortable. They are a bit heavy, but for being tall they seem about what you'd expect. "

Not as big as it's supposed to be

" I've got a size 10.5-11 foot, and this XL was far too small. My toes reached the end and curled up to fit into the slipper, which is a shame! The inside was soft foam, which was comfortable, but they give the impression that within a few months they'll compress and be less supportive. Also, they seem to look somewhat different in person than the did in the photo. The photo shows the slippers to look kind of chunky and cute and like a women's slipper, and in person they look like they came straight out of the men's section. They'll be returned. "
