" I ordered a pair in size 9 and they are perfect in every way…it's just that after a few wearings, deep gashes appeared on both soles. They were very well cared for, not exposed to water nor subjected to strenuous activity like sports (just used for light walking)….so I am baffled that a premium label like RL can have such a problem. My feeling is that it is a quality control issue…I am in touch with DSW to see how they can make this right. Thought I should alert any other potential buyers out there. "
