Cute but ....
" These shoes are adorable. Love the simplicity of the bow and the leather is so soft. Which brings me to my only reason to not give these shoes 5 stars: the leather is very thin and delicate, and the leather is not lined, making the possibility of these shoes not lasting a long time if worn too often.

Classic
" As an Attorney, I need to have classic close toed shoes for court. I ordered these shoes online, sight unseen (except picture) and never tried on - but I have purchased Charles and Charles David shoes before. The shoes I ordered were black and my standard size.
When I received these shoes, the quality of the leather was great! So was the workmanship. The color was a clean even black color and all leather including the heal and the insert. In this review, I marked the fit as slightly short only because the right show "box" seems a bit short and rubs the top of my toes. But -- the leather will stretch (Left shoe fits like a gem!!! If I went up a size it would be too big.)
As far as "comfy" -- these are three inch heels... so the comfort is fine for the height, i.e., the leather doesn't hit the Achilles heal and balance of the heel and the arch are spot on. (I don't know anyone that would say that three-four inch heels are "very comfy".)

Pin-up Sassiness All the Way!
" I ordered these shoes online in black patent leather. The recommedation is that they run slightly small, so to order a half-size bigger. I followed the advice and believe in general that is correct. However, the shoe is not a full half-size smaller because I ended up having to get inserts for the ball of the shoe so that my heal would not slip. I will say that the shoe is very sexy, and because of the shape of the heel, the petite classic peep toe, and the moderate heighth of the platform, with the right conservative suit, this shoe can be worn for business as well as pleasure... adding just enough of a glamour allure to a conservative business attire. From the first time I have worn these shoes, I have received compliments from both men and women. I highly recommend the shoe.

Me-ow!!! These are purr-fect!!!
" I ordered these shoes online. When they arrived, not only did the shoe look as fantastic in person as it did online, the fit was perfect, and when I slipped them on-- it was like wearing slippers they were so comfortable. The heel is not too high, making it a perfect corporate business shoe -- especially with a nice black suit just to add a little "pop" to the ensemble. From the first time I have worn them, I have recieved compliments from both men and women. I highly recommend these shoes!

Adorable
" These shoes are super cute and the color was spot on as to what the picture online showed (ordered the brown natural color). However, when I received the shoes after ordering online, I found that the back of shoe is cut very high and hits at an odd angle to the Achilles tendon. Also, the box of the shoe is tight over the top and the leather is not supple, so stretching to accommodate would not be easy. beause of these issues, I ended up having to return the shoes to a store for fear of blisters and discomfort using DSW's fabulous return policy. I would have exchanged the shoes had the store actually carried the product... but alas, they didn't have this shoe in stock at the store.

Makes noise when you walk
" When I first saw this show in the nude/natural color, I was head over heels in love: Very classic small peep toe show that would be a wonderful three season shoe (Spring, Summer, and Fall). Unfortunately, when I tried on the shoe, while both the right and left listed as the same size, they were not. Moreover, the right shoe every time I walked (and I believ this was due to the way the instep and and upper were cut), made a "woosh" air noise. This is very annoying, especially since only a shoe's heel and/or bottom of the ball of the foot making contact with a non-carpeted floor should make any noise. Consequently, I returned the shoes using DSW's wonderful return policy for a complete refund.

Too big in the calf
" When I first saw this boot online, I fell in love. When it arrived, I was so excited because it looked just as cute in person as it did online... unfortunately, though, the ankle and calf portion of the boot runs very wide instead of tailored. I could have easily fit thick athletic socks scrunched up in the boot and it still would have been too big --- and to wear such thick socks would go against the tailored boot-style. So, I had to return them.
