" I've been looking for a boot like this for awhile and I finally sucked it up and purchased them despite the price tag.
First off, the leather is very soft and supple, exactly what I'm looking for. I did have to unbuckle them to put them on, so it was nice to find out that the buckles are functional as well as cute. As soon as I had them on, I could tell they wouldn't work. I wear a size 6 in most shoes and I ordered a 6.5 in these hoping I could wear decently thick socks. My feet are not wide by any means but these were WAY too narrow in the toe box and too short in general. So much so that I couldn't even walk in them without pain. Maybe if you size up a full size or more they might work? But I don't want to chance it, even if they did still have higher than 6.5 in stock (which they don't). Needless to say, they will be returned. "
