"These shoes are the perfect width for my seriously wide feet, thought they run a bit on the long side. The heel strap isn't adjustable, and I worry that it will stretch out and cause rubbing soon. The arch in these shoes is very high, to the point of mild discomfort. I'm hoping I'll get used to the arch, since the shoes are otherwise comfy."

Not for Extra Wide Feet
"Despite all the adjustability of this shoe, it just doesn't work for wide/extra wide feet. Other Romika shoes are more accommodating."
"Just wide enough for my wide feet, these shoes are reasonably comfortable. The leather on the upper is a bit stiff, and I could use a bit more width for my wider foot. They don't make my feet overly hot, even in the Florida summer."

I finally own a Mary Jane-like shoe!
"I have wide feet and a bunion. Closed toed shoes are normally a no no for me. I was hoping that with sizing up and the woven elastic material these would work for me, and they do. If Bernie Mev came in wide, I would be thrilled, but I can live with these as is.
These are much cuter in person, with a cute little V instead of a straight line across the front of the foot. Then ankle strap is a bit tight, and there is some discomfort toward the end of the day, but if you have normal, non-FrankenFeet, you will love these comfy shoes.
Remember to size up! I'm normally a 7.5-8 and ordered the 39."

Not for Wide Feet
"I'd tried on something else by Spring Step in store, and hoped these would fit similarly. Also, often, European sizing is a bit wider. No luck. Not for those with a wide forefoot or bunions. The leather is pretty stiff as well, though it would probably soften up some with time.
If you have narrow feet go for it! They are adorable, well made, and rich in color, a bit more red than expected from the photos.
Customer service on in store return was excellent."
"Even in a wide, these didn't fit me. The upper is made of a stiffer stretchy fabric, and pushed in on my feet. The sole was narrow too, but I might have made due with a more stretchy upper fabric. Also, if you are looking for a quiet shoe, this might not be it. They did make a flip floppy noise, though quieter than some.
It's sad because these are otherwise a cute and decently made shoe. If you have a very wide forefoot, or bunions, don't bother buying this one. Happily, the customer service on my in store return was excellent."
