" I have a thing for braids but as much as I love the braid detail it make the shoe visually heavy across that area...in a slightly awkward way. Don't like the way it looks on my foot. Back it goes.

Basic Black Flat
" Cushier than most, elastic around the top front makes for a more consistent fit...doesn't feel like you will walk out of it. Also gives it a slightly gathered look that's a little more casual.

nice alternative
" Bought to make airport security a little easier. They are comfortable and look good with casual pants and jeans. If I have one problem it's that because the toe box is just a little wide for my foot (not a problem for me though...older feet) my foot has a tendency to slide a little when walking.
