" The metallic strap at the base of the shaft is very loose - it appears to be taut in the picture but it hangs almost an inch lower on the pair I received. Unfortunately the whole boot also looks way too wide on me and the buckles are only ornamental so I can't adjust this. They are super sturdy, though, and maybe someone with wider ankles/calves or a taste for thick socks could make them work.

" The platforms are a little unusual for me, but the boots were on sale and are actually really cute and comfortable. Hopefully by the time fall rolls around I'll still feel the same (I doubt I'll have much opportunity to wear them before then).

" Oh my goodness these are so comfortable! I usually have to size down (from a 9 to an 8.5) since my feet are on the narrow side, but these fit perfectly. The bow front is subtle enough that it's not distracting or hard to match but it does keep things interesting.

" The inside of these is awesome - padding for the instep is a great touch and the lining is adorable and sturdy. I usually wear an 8.5 or a 9 and went with 9; I wish instead I'd gone with an 8.5 or even an 8. They're not uncomfortable in a 9 and I got them right before traveling, so I'm not going to exchange them. I like them so much that I would buy them again in another color and a smaller size :)

" They're so comfy they're like slippers. Don't feel much sturdier than slippers, unfortunately, and actually kind of look like them too, so that's a little limiting in what you can pair them with. They are cute enough and crazy comfy, so I'm happy. I'd size down if you're between sizes - I wish I'd gone with an 8.5 rather than a 9. They don't slip off my feet but aren't as snug as I'd like.
