Oddly shaped foot
" Had been watching these for a while now, wanted slouch boots that were real leather. Bought them in black and brown. The leg opening barely fit my 14" calf (size 6.5). The foot part was rounded, as well as having the pointed toe, which gave it a very odd look. After returning both pair, I will continue to look for the perfect slouch boots.

Cheap looking leather?
" Liked the option to take the strap off for a smooth look, but could not get past the cheap look and stiff feel of the leather and heel material. The inside felt like plastic or vinyl, confirmed what I thinking of the overall quality. Color was supposed to be dark grey but looked to be brownish. Not at all what I was expecting. Sent them back the day after receiving them!

Awkward zipper placement
" Loved the burgundy color, that is the best part. The zipper up the back made the heel part flat and unshaped, which was uncomfortable. One of the boots had a light color side and a darker side where they met in front, when you looked down on them it was noticeable. Sadly sent them back the day after they arrived, was so wanting them to be perfect, mainly because of the color.

Unique Style
" Loved the styling of this boot since it first became available on DSW website, very unique. True to size! Wanted a boot that was different than all the others. Only complaint is: they are listed on website as brown and the box says cognac. A little redder than I was expecting, but overall love the style and can overlook the reddish tint. Glad I purchased these!

Pefect size and style but....
" Perfect size and style, but the front & one end of the handbag looked like smooth leather and the back & the other end looked like pebble leather. When you set the handbag down; it just slumped over to the back side. Loved the style and size, but couldn't get past the leather that didn't appear to match. Needed more structure. Disappointed, sent it back to exchange for different brand.

Very unique combat boot but..........
" Loved the ruffled addition to the traditional combat boot, but have tried 2 pairs of the same size, both of them fit differently. 1st pair hurt ankle/heal area & 2nd pair had a quality issue. One of the ruffles was really wide and the other ruffle was very narrow. (This was all on the same boot.) Also, on 2nd pair the heal looked like it wasn't completely glued on. The 2nd pair felt good on; but at over $100.00, the quality just wasn't there. I agree with one of the other reviewers, didn't have the appearance of designer shoes. Totally disappointed, returned both pairs. So wanted these to work out.

Just the right size!
" Looks more expensive than what I paid for it. Leather is smooth and soft. Bought the goes with all my clothes BLACK. Don't let the small size keep you from purchasing, it holds a lot in this mini design. Looks great dressed up and dressed down. Thanks DSW for a great item and a special thanks to the sales lady that helped me with it. Wish it also came with gold hardware, would have bought another one.
