Obsessed w/ these shoes!
" As far as I'm concerned, these shoes are a work of art. They are literally one of the coolest pairs of shoes I've ever seen/owned(& I have a LOT of shoes). They're a little tight/narrow in the toe but I have wide feet so I can't say how they'd be for someone who doesn't. Honestly, I knew when I first tried them on they weren't going to be the most comfortable shoes but short of literally not being able to get them on(which happens to me more often than I'd like to admit, esp. w/ designer brands), there was nothing that was going to make me return these shoes. So far I've worn them out once & I did have to switch to my little fold up ballet flats when it came time to walk a lot but as far as I'm concerned, it wasn't a major issue. IMO, they're worth the $ & even worth a little pain as well. That's how much I'm loving these shoes! Oh & of course I got compliments on them! They rock.

Wide Width? I think not.
" I was so excited when I saw that these shoes came in Wide Width. My main issue w/ finding shoes that fit in general is the width. I've always had wide feet which only got worse after having my daughter, to the point where now I always go up a half to a full size in shoes b/c it's the only way to get them to fit my toes. And even then, a lot of xs they're still too tight. My other issue is that normally I refuse to buy shoes that come in "WW" b/c I just don't find them as attractive as regular width shoes. So when I saw that these booties came in WW, I thought I'd hit the jackpot! I thought they were really cute & most of the reviews were good as well. When I first tried them on, I thought they felt comfortable. In fact, I wore them out for the first time for that very reason. I was going out w/ a friend in the city & knew we might end up dancing or at the very least walking a lot. I was shocked when they started hurting very early on in the night, pretty much from walking very little & just sitting to have dinner. By the time I gave up & took them off(in the st, to change into a pair of those little fold up ballet flats that you can get in drugstores & that I take w/ me every time I go out for this very reason), my feet were bleeding. And we didn't even end up dancing! I didn't even do that much walking in them either. If they hadn't been advertised as WW, I wouldn't be surprised or hold it against them b/c I know my feet are difficult to fit & I often have problems like that from a normal width shoe. But when a shoe is advertised as WW, I expect more comfort. I can't return them now so next time I'll try them w/ tights or a pair of those little sock/pantyhose feet protectors. But the bottom line is I ordered these shoes a full size bigger than my former size AND they're WW! So there's just no excuse for them making my feet bleed!

So beautiful yet so uncomfortable!
" I ordered these shoes in green when they were available and was SO hoping they would be comfortable b/c I absolutely loved them. When I received them they were even more beautiful in person but I literally couldn't even get them on my feet. I've noticed this problem a lot lately w/ many of the designer brands, esp. those which originate in Italy for some reason. They just run way smaller than American brands. So though it broke my heart, I had to return them. Btw I have wide feet so if you have "normal" or narrow feet, hopefully you will not have this problem!

Cute shoe but not for me
" I was looking for a cute see through type shoe like this one forever, in fact this was the 2nd I ordered(first was from another site). I love the style, unfortunatly it doesn't love me. I've got wide feet but I refuse to wear most of the shoes made for wide feet b/c they're on the whole not as cute or interesting as others. I even go up 1/2 to a whole size in most shoes & just put heel cushions in the back. But even w/ all that, sometimes a shoe is just too narrow for my foot, esp. those w/ pointed toes. This shoe is one of those cases. I ended up having to return them. However, all that being said I don't hold it aginst the shoe. If you have "normal" feet, go for them, but if you've got wide feet like me stay away.

Disappointing
" First off, let me just state for the record I love Betsey Johnson. & when I walked into DSW & saw these booties, they were the first thing I picked up to try on. But when I did, I was really surprised & disappointed b/c they just didn't look cute on. For me the problem was that the top is just too wide. I tried mulitple sizes, thinking maybe that was the problem but it didn't make a difference. They look like the perfect boots to wear w/ skinny jeans. Obviously for that, you want the top of the boot to be a little on the wide side but these are just huge up top, to the point where they just looked odd. & in case you're wondering if it's b/c I've got really skinny legs or something, it's not. Although I'm thin, I've actually got very athletic looking legs w/ thick muscular calves. So if they were that big on me, I'm guessing they would be on most ppl. So unless you're specifically looking for booties, that have are extra wide on top, unfortunately I'd say pass on these. Or at the very least try them on in the store first.

Very sexy & comfortable shoe!!!
" This was my first successful online ordered purchase! I'd seen these shoes in the store but my feet are very wide so figured I was better off ordering the wide width version since it was available online. I tend to gravitate towards unique shoes w/ a lot of different colors. I realized recently that I didn't own a single pair of black or nude pumps. Anyway I ordered these in black, 9W. Sometimes I'm a 8 1/2 but b/c my feet are so wide I usually end up getting 9's b/c they're so much more comfortable. I made the mistake of ordering a different pair/brand in 8 1/2 wide, thinking the WW would make them comfortable but that wasn't the case so w/ these I didn't take a chance. They are slightly big in the heel but I don't care b/c they're so comfortable! I was even more surprised by the reaction I got. I figured a plain black pump wouldn't draw much attn but boy was I wrong! My friends wouldn't stop going on about sexy they were & one of them said she saw a guy checking me out in the st & that he was staring at my shoes lol. I'm a P/T model & had a photo shoot the following day & brought them w/ me to wear. The photographer had shoes for me but I requested that I wear these since I felt so comfortable & sexy in them. It was a 4 hr shoot & I wore them the entire time, even when I changed outfits! I was exhausted by the end of the shoot but my feet didn't hurt at all. The only reason I'm giving them 4 instead of 5 stars is after only wearing them those 2 times, there is a large scratch across the front of one of the shoes. It must've happened during the shoot but I wasn't doing any crazy poses that would cause a scratch. So while I'd def. recommend these shoes, just be careful as they seem to scratch easily. I still plan on wearing them again though:)

Beautiful shoes but run way too tight :(
" First of all let me just say that I absolutely LOVE these boots which is why I am so bummed that I have to return them. I wanted to write a review to warn others how small they run. The other review says they felt snug at first but she wore them around the house and was able to stretch them out. So I tried to do that as well, put them on a cpl of xs but they were SO tight that I could literally barely even get my feet in & when I did they were so crammed in that I was in pain from just sitting w/ them on, never mind walking in them. I tried but could hardly stand! I was really surprised b/c I actually had already ordered them in the largest size I ever wear(a lot of times I'm even half a size smaller). I also have another pair of Fendi shoes(ballet flats, also from DSW but purchased them in the store so was able to try them on first) & they're the same size as these. I assumed b/c it was the same brand, I would be the same size but I guess depending on the style the sizes run really differently. My whole life I was a size 8 than I had a baby & my feet got bigger & 4 yrs later have never went back to their original size. So normally now I am a size 8 1/2 or 9 at the most, which is the size I ordered these boots in. Unfortunately that's the largest size they have so I'm really sad I have to return them. They really are beautiful shoes so I would recommend them but def. go up AT LEAST a half a size than you would normally wear or even an entire size up to be on the safe side.
