Stylish, sturdy, but breaking in is painful
" Nice looking boots, stylish color that goes with many outfits from suits to jeans. The style is a bit more American/British than Italian in that they are a bit wide, without being in the Bostonian/Clarks/Church's realm. However, the upper rim of the boots destroy my Achilles. They are tight and rub against the back of my ankle constantly. I had to buy gel inserts to prevent this painful problem. WIth professional sizing or an extended period of breaking in, I am sure they will be fine, but they tend to get passed over in my outfit selection because they have this painful design flaw.
