disappointed
" Ordered these for one of my daughters. Love to surprise them with surprise packages, particularly of shoes. (can there be a better surprise in th mail?!) Very dissappointed when they arrived defective! One heel met the sole, the other had a space between the heel and the sole. It was obvious defect and should have been caught by quality control. So the benefit of mail order was defeated by the need o go into the store to return (Yes I could have returned by mail, but still would have had to take package to post office, and besides, I wanted to point out the flaw personally) "

Disappointed
" Wanted to love these boots. They caught my attention cuz they shared a name with my son (Ellery). I usually don't buy boots online because I have wide calves and therefore it is rare that I find boots that fit, so I need to try on in store before purchasing. But becuase the name struck a chord and a reviewer specifically said she had the same calf problem and yet the boots fit her no problem, and I ordered them in size wide, rare to find in boots, I thought I was so safe. Alas, the boots are adorable, and the fit is great on the foot, but they simply do not fit on my calves, and are going back today. So sad, they feel so snugly too. :( "
