Patent Leather?
" I purchased this shoe and was suprised to discover that it is not actually patent LEATHER but "all man-made materials." Unfortunately, I didn't double-check until I had worn them several times when I noticed a crack near the big toe joint area.
Very disappointed. "

No "Break-In" time Needed
" These Kelly & Kate Jennifer Pumps are super-comfy straight out of the box. "Buddy the Elf" might describe the instep as "oohhh!!! very, VERY cushiony" because of the light padding in the shoe.
I especially love the heel height. It is so right for long days at the office and goes equally well with skirts and pants. The details are great...the fabric and patent combination is both dressy and conservative. This shoe wears many hats...from the office, to church, to dinner out...dress it up or down.
I have a bunion issue and I generally can't wear a shoe that cuts low across the ball of my foot. These are great and cut across at just the right spot! No pain or discomfort at all.
I really wish they came in other colors, like red, chocolate brown, and camel... "

Beautiful Shoe
" I just love the profile of this classic pump and the rich chocolate brown color of the "croc embossed" leather. That is why I kept them even though they were a little tight. I am hoping they will stretch slightly and become more comfortable as I wear them. "

Comfy Cutie
" This simply darling shoe is super-comfortable straight out of the box! No breaking-in needed here...I am on my feet for long periods of time and am always looking for comfortable (but stylish) shoes. This one really fits the bill. I wish it came in other colors!! "

Pretty en pointe
" Great heel height for standing long periods at a time. If I were purchasing these again I might go up a half size to give my toes a little more room. "

" This shoe gets 5 stars for comfort straight out of the box! They look even better in person. This is one pair of shoes that you wish came in every color! "

Perfect for Picky Husband
" My husband complains about dress shoes cutting into his ankle bone so I am always on the lookout for nice men's dress shoes with a padded collar. These really fit the bill. On days one and two (I am told) they were a little tight and he was concerned that they wouldn't break in. By the 3rd or 4th wearing he was touting their comfort! I think I am going to get him a pair in black while I can!
The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I really like leather soles in men's shoes. That would make these perfect... "

Adorably Functional
" I am always on the lookout for the next great semi-flat dressy (ish) sandal that will take me from the office to the park. This shoe fits the bill. I was surprised at how narrow it felt...could just be my feet :-) "

Left a little flat
" I love the look of this shoe. I purchased this item because I am on my feet for several hours at a time and sometimes all day (as a corporate trainer) so I wanted options to heels.
I generally take a 9 but had to return because my feet were swimming in them. I exchanged for an 8.5 and still have some slippage...it think a think shoe insert will help that problem.
My big concern is where the shoe cuts across the top of the foot... Right into the big toe joint (bunion sufferers beware!). I hope they break in around that area soon...even though they are flats and don't have the downward pressure that you would get in a pump or heel, the shoe edge still cuts right into the joint. I would highly recommend wearing with hosiery...to go without would likely cause a blister. "

Toasty Toes
" Tell me where else you can find a waterproof suede boot fully lined with REAL shearling (including shearling foot bed) for this price?! I picked mine up during the 50% off boots sale, which make for an even greater deal; but now that I have them, I realize that they are a deal even not on sale...
I commute about an hour to work each way and don't like to mar my good shoes while driving, so I am always on the lookout for a great driving shoe. This time of year, that driving shoe also has to get me across sloppy, snowy, icy parking lots and to my office where I can slip on my heels for the day. This boot definitely fits the bill. It is visually narrow-not clunky or bulky-and fits well under my dress slacks...I don't like to tuck (and wrinkle) my trousers on the way to the office.
I would have liked a little mor slip resistance...the sole handles crunching through snow just fine, but a little less traction on ice (probably more to do with the physics of ice than the sole of this boot...)
If I needed a 2nd pair, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase the black ones, but I already purchased the Columbia Delancey which I find is another great "get to work" boot. "

Bad weather boot
" This boot provides warmth, water repellancy, and comfort in snow and icy conditions. I primarily use these boots to "save" my good shoes to and from work. They get me across sloppy parking lots and to my office where I can switch into my heels. I have a narrow heel and have not noticed any excessive slipping even when wearing a trouser sock or stockings. They provide good arch support and balance.
I was disappointed that they are not actually lined with faux shearling as mentioned in the product description. The faux shearling only goes about one inch into the top of the boot. The balance of the lining is some sort of yellow foamy material. "

Stylish and Comfortable
" I am a corporate trainer and am on my feet for 8-10 hours during the day with a lot of walking aournd as well as standing. This shoe passed my test!
I went up a half size to allow for more room in the pointed toe of this shoe. I have a narrow heel and this fits very well with no slipping. For people with bunion problems, be cautioned that this cuts dangerously close to the bunion area so if this is a concern for you, take heed. "
