Very beautiful, but not for distances.
" I have these in blush, and they are show stoppers. I get tons of compliments and no one has anything like them. BUT 1) they are made of silk and shouldn't really be worn outside or they will get filthy; and 2) they start to hurt after only an hour or two. Nothing terrible--no blisters or cuts--but just a general discomfort from the way they distribute your weight that makes the balls of my feet burn like crazy. However, for days when I just want or need a little drama, nothing compares to these!

Nice shoes.
" I bought a pair of these in cobalt back in the spring. I rarely wear them but only because the color can be hard to match. I love them! The pleats on the front of them give them an interesting touch without making them too gaudy. They irritated the balls of my feet at first, but it was nothing an insert couldn't fix. Now they're one of my favorite pairs of shoes to wear to the bar--or work!

Clunky and painful.
" The toe hole pinches. The entire shoe looks like a mishapen block of plastic. No outfit looks right with them. Besides, they're awkward to walk in because of how they're shaped. Keep looking.

My favorite heels!
" I own these in basic black (2 pairs) and brown. The older pair of black I have had for over 2 years, and often wear them for 8 or more hours a day of constant walking and standing (the second pair is for "special occasions" since I am rough on shoes). During that time, they have held up very well, even against the harsh Ohio winters and the merciless beating that shoes seem to suffer when I own them. I'm about 5'9" and don't usually wear heels, but usually wear them for more formal work days (ie, when I have a trial). These are excellent because they never hurt my feet, they look classic, but the pointy toe and modern styling give them the perfect update. Great with suits and jeans, socks and no socks. The best pair of heels I have ever purchased and I will likely buy many similar pairs in the future.

" I love pointy-toed heels, but these suckers pinch my toes like crazy and are made out of such lousy material, it never seems to give or shape to my foot. I regret buying these more than I can express.

Love them!
" This is my first pair of high-heel booties for several reasons. First, it has a closed toe (I can't stand open toed shoes--they cut into my skin like crazy). Second, it has the styling of a classic high heel, which makes it comfortable, versatile, and easy to wear. Third, the flap detail is the perfect bit of sass to make these worth the price. Like all heels, they make the balls of my feet burn a little after extended wear. However, that's not unusual for me and I do a LOT of walking every day. In general, they are extremely comfortable and look good with pants but great with skirts and dresses. I also have worn them sockless and they remain very comfy. For a cute nighttime look, pair them with skinny jeans and no socks or a short skirt and patterned tights. They look amazing, hold up well, and for the most part, they won't hurt your feet. If ever you were going to buy a pair of booties, this is the one.

Okay.
" I've owned these for about three years now. I like that there are no shoestrings to worry about keeping tied, and I liked the general look of them when I bought them back in 07. They've held up well overall, but are definitely showing some signs of wear (the cords are fraying a little and the heels are breaking or broken). My biggest complaint is that they come up very high in front and sometimes this irritates my feet and causes them to swell. If you have thick ankles or swelling problems, then, this shoe isn't for you. But, if you want something basic that still looks young, it's a quality shoe for a reasonable price. Enjoy!

Essential.
" I'm a lawyer, so I'm on my feet and running between courts, the office, and client meetings all day. I need a shoe that can keep up with me, and since about March of 2010, that has been this shoe. My toes never feel pinched, and my sensitive feet are rarely irritated by these (a miracle since nearly all shoes bother me after a while). They look great with skirts and pants and have a greeat, polished, pofessional look that easily adapts to nighttime and weekends. My only complaint is that, like all pointy-toe shoes, the leather on the tips is wearing out and they're starting to look bad. Although, since I wear these a lot, that's not really shocking, nor a sign of bad craftsmanship. One of my favorites--you'll love them!

Best. Shoe. Ever!
" I bought these in the black leather. I have very sensitive feet that easily cut, blister, and scar, so finding shoes that are both dressy and cute can be a challenge. Usually, I have problems with shoes that should be very comfortable. Not so with these! They fit perfectly, and the leather is buttery soft and molds to the shape of your foot. In addition, the grommet/leather ribbon is a very cute detail that is both professional and sassy! Every time I wear them, I feel like dancing (or at least like I could walk 20 miles before I ever felt any pain. Highly, highly, highly recommended.
