These boots saved my life!

" Ok, not literally, but a family member passed away while I was home for the holidays. Because there was a deluge on the days before the funeral I was looking for some stylish black rainboots I could wear. Well I didn't find anything I liked as far as 'rainboots' go, but these were perfect!! I had actually bought a pair for the burial and one for afterwards, but these ended up being so comfortable that I never took them off. I wore them on the airplane back home, (very easy on and off at security), and I have worn them every day since while running errands in the typically wet and misty winter weather of Germany. That being said, I'm a bigger girl with wider feet (but not crazy wide), and larger calves. These boots are short enough that the calf circumference isn't an issue at all. I generally get away with normal width shoes, but even with my wider feet, these boots feel pretty big. I wear a size 9. These shoes feel more like a 9.5. Not complaining! Even with the extra room in the shoe, my heel does go up, but I don't feel my feet moving around, and even after wearing for a few hours, there is never any discomfort from them being a bit roomy. Would not recommend these if you have a narrow foot. Did I mention these are really cute? "
