Amazing shoes for foot pain
" This brand was recommended to me by my rheumatologist, when I told her about my foot and heel pain from rheumatoid arthritis. These shoes are cute, well made, and remarkably comfortable! I had been using insoles in well padded shoes, and these alone are easier to walk in for long distances.
I wear a size 11, and have long toes, and there is room in the toe box in these shoes. They are leather, and leather lined, so there is a bit of stretching required but one day's wear will get them nice and molded to your feet. Leather shoes shouldn't fit loose right off the bat, or they'll end up too big!
These pinch my pinky toes ever so slightly at the end of the day, but again I have long weird toes and autoimmune arthritis, so shoes would basically have to be magic to really make my feet pain free.
I walk to work about a mile, and am on my feet much of the day. These shoes are supportive and comfortable even with foot problems, I quite literally cannot imagine how comfy they would be for someone whose feet are perfectly healthy!
Aesthetically, the shoes are adorable and the quilting updates a very classic silhouette. "

" I bought these shoes to wear at in a friend's wedding. They're cute enough, but getting the shoes on is extremely awkward! I spent a good two minutes working one shoe onto my foot, because there's a teeny elastic section in the back of the strap which is the only thing that allows you to get these on at all. I wore them at home for a few hours to break them in a little, and I'm not sanguine about the wedding. I wear heels a lot, and I have four inch heels which are much comfier than these sandals. The distribution of straps is odd, and doesn't seem to take toes into account. The material feels cheap as well, when it stretches to allow a foot inside the fake snakeskin type texture pulls apart and looks like it will flake at the slightest touch.
Basically, I'm going to wear these to a good friend's wedding, because she chose them. Then they're going in the bottom of the closet, never to be seen again.
