Comfortable and Visually Appealing, Bad Zipper
" I bought a black pair about a year ago. Once broken in, these boots were very comfortable.
About two months ago, a few teeth from one of the zippers tore off unexpectedly with minimal force while putting on the boot, and needs to be repaired. Having never experienced a tear like this before, I do have to question the quality of the zipper itself.
In the interim, I was generally satisfied enough with the boots to get one pair in Brown. However, I'm very dismayed to find that, as I write this, the largest size they now offer is 12...as opposed to the 13 I need and was able to purchase last year. Hopefully they'll offer it again soon.
As for the rest of the boot, after a year of use, none of the other seams or pieces have separated or ripped...so good marks for that.
