WIDE
" This boot runs very wide. I opted to get the wide with, since I have wide feet, and wide with typically offers for a more comfortable fit. Since I ordered them online, and haven't looked for them in store, I can't comment on what combination of size /width would have actually worked. I ordered 8W and they felt at least two sizes too big. I typically wear an 8 in most shoes and sandals, a 7.5 in pumps/heels, and a 7.5-8 in boots (typically more so an 8).I think I would have needed a 7.5 regular. I can't comment on the actual comfort of the shoe, since i didn't even bother to walk in them as they were huge. I ordered the grey, which was a mice medium shade. Pretty attractive boots overall, that came about halfway up the calf.

oddly made
" I bought this shoe in the burgundy color, which was a really nice shade of red. I bought a size 7.5, which is what I normally wear in pumps. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything I could do to keep my heel from slipping out. There was so much space in the heel that i could fit my finger in. I tried putting a plastic/silicon insert in the heel, and also under the ball of my foot, in hopes of pushing my foot back. There was no grip when wearing stockings, and barefoot, once my foot got sweaty they started to slip out as well. Very disappointed as despite the slight platform, these are very classic/versatile shoes. Back to the store they go..

" These shoes are comfortable when you first put them on and walk around when trying them on. However, when actually walking around wearing them they start to rub around the ankle, and down by the toes. I rubbed a "no rub stick" or sorts all around the straps, and that helped a little. I think since others have rated the shoes as comfortable, maybe I have not broken them in yet, as I have only worn them 2X.
I wear a 7.5 in pumps, and 8 in everything else. These fit pretty true to size, I got them in an 8. "

Quality issues..
" These are very cute, found them on clearance in the store. The fit and comfort was decent, although I did not do very much walking in them. The second time I wore them one of the strings of beads broke. The beads have some of the color rubbed off of them also. Not sure if that is the style, but it looked a little cheap-looking. I was willing to overlook that, but the fact that a string broke was a deal breaker for me. They took them back in the store without a problem.
