Soft leather, made in USA, look great

" Purchased these about 4 months ago, so have had a good chance to really see how they are. These have nice, soft leather that required virtually no break in period. The appearance is distressed, but with some care (leather conditioner, mink oil, etc.) mine are a nice uniform dark brown, and quite supple.

The perfectly matching leather laces are my favorite part of this shoe. So far they've been holding up well.

As for negatives, be prepared for a sole that isn't very rugged. There is some texture here to prevent slips, etc., but this isn't a lug sole boot designed for weather. Also, not a ton of support inside, so I wish there was more of a padded insole. I might have sized up to leave room for an insert.

Still, this is a great boot that I'm really happy with. Made in the USA, at a really reasonable price. I'd buy from them again. "
