Yet another English shoe made for the fat-footed
" Based on previous experience with English shoe brands and other reviewers on this site, I ordered these shoes a full size smaller than my foot size. The length is about right, but they are still as wide as waterskis.
The material quality is ever so slightly lower than the impression given by the photos. I don't know how to describe it-- the materials are not cheap, but they are not top-quality either.

Great for diabetics and CHF patients
" These socks are extremely tight. I wear a 12C shoe, so my feet are narrow anyway, but these socks feel like medical compression stockings. Also, the gray heel color will be visible when wearing low-profile shoes-- a little tacky.

A color accent, not an athletic shoe
" These shoes are good for kicking around the house, casual walking, working out in a weight machine setting, etc. I wouldn't attempt to run or play sports in them; the lateral support is too weak and the shock absorption is insufficient. The bright colors make a nice fashion accent, as Pumas are often used for. I bought mine only because they were on super sale and I had a fun use for the bright orange color. Puma has more stylish shoes and more functional shoes than this (but they are 2x-3x the price).

Amazing boots for the price
" These boots are a must-buy for any price under $60. They fit comfortably right out of the box, which is uncommon for leather boots. The side zipper is inconspicuous, but very handy for passing through airport security. The antiqued leather look is a good balance of casual with classy.
My only concern is for the longevity of the materials and workmanship. At this price point, you can't expect a lot, and I suspect these will wear out after a couple seasons of walking through salted, slushy sidewalks. The rubber sole is rather thin, and does not run the full length of the shoe, so getting them resoled is probably not an option.

These shoes do NOT run small!
" Because the consensus of opinion seemed to be that these shoes ran very small, I ordered a 13 instead of a 12. Big mistake. These shoes are the size as labeled. They are a bit wide, though. They are also very heavy and sturdy. The workmanship is very good.
Just remember to buy your proper size. Don't overthink it.

A nice, generic, casual shoe
" As long as you don't pay a lot for this shoe, you should be happy with it. It's comfortable, functional, and has a nice, conservative appearance that fits with most casual wear. It was comfortable right out of the box, and it didn't require much break-in. The opening is unusually tight, requiring you to loosen the laces all the way down when putting on the shoe. But inside it is quite roomy.

Decent bargain boot
" I have nothing particularly good or bad to say about this boot. It's a decent-looking casual boot that should do well in winter for casual days at the office. The uppers are slightly thinner than you might expect from the photo. This is by no means an outdoor work or camp boot. Some have complained about the short lifespan of the sole, but I haven't worn it enough to weigh in on this issue.
