"As a Floridian, I've had no need for a true snow boot. But, I'm traveling to Boston next week and there are snow flurries expected, with wet and salty roads. These are certainly stylish, which is what attracted me to them, but I'm hoping they are as practical in that they must truly be waterPROOF and marginally warm. There is a thin insulation layer inside, which I prefer, as having a full liner would certainly make my feet sweat. They are not broken in, so I'm not sure yet of their comfortability. Wearing wool socks will help, I'm sure. They are a touch narrow as well; I'm certain I don't have a wide foot, but loosening the laces surely helped eliminate most of the pressure.
I will be rereporting on all of these things after the trip next week. Stay Tuned!"
