Warm All Day
" I bought these boots for a wintertime trip to Colorado. The place I was staying was at an elevation of about 9,200 ft up in the Rockies. There was at least a foot of snow in all places, and the temperature never got above 20 degrees with lows near -15. Being from Texas, I get cold easily and needed boots that would keep my feet cold in these conditions.
I bought these boots and am extremely pleased with them. I usually wear a size 7 or 7 1/2 so I went ahead and bought a size 8 to make sure I had room for thick socks. They ended up fitting perfectly. Paired with a pair of cotton and a pair of thick wool hiking socks, these boots were very comfortable and warm. The waterproofing was great, my feet stayed dry after spending an entire day sledding, trudging through a foot of snow, and walking on a frozen river. Even walking on the ice, the traction on the boots was great.
Some of my friends were wearing more expensive, popular brands of boots, and they complained about their feet being cold. Mine feet were toasty and warm all weekend. They seem durable, so I'm hoping they'll last me a long time. Also, the price is unbelievable for the value of these boots! "
