not bad at all
" I've read some of the other reviews that these shoes are flimsy and cheaply made. I haven't had the experience of anything falling apart yet or detaching. But I can see where that could happen if you walk a little hard(?) because the way the shoe feels a little clonky. Even with my strap tightened to the smallest possible circumference around my ankle it still feels like the shoe is not following the foot when you walk. I've had that feeling with a lot of slingback shoes though. And the top of your foot really pulls hard on the middle strap when you walk. I think also due to the way the sole curves upwards so that you feel like you're hitting 2 surfaces when you walk. But I definitely don't think it looks cheap. The soles actually look very well crafted. The leather is very soft and forms around my wide feet just fine. I went half a size because there's no wide sizes available and it doesn't feel too long or roomy. It's a nice neutral nude. "

not easy to walk in
" While I've read some good reviews about its comfort, I can't say it's comfortable at all on me. Platforms in general are more comfortable because there's more padding between the hard floor and your foot, and there is some slight padding for the balls of the feet. But I've definitely have had more comfy pumps. The height is not so bad, but the way the bottom of the shoe curves up really bothers me. This seems more apparent in most platforms. And it's really hard for me to walk in. It feels fine on carpets but on more slick surfaces I feel a little nervous because not only is there almost no traction on the bottom of the shoe the way it curves makes me feel like I'm not walking on a flat surface. This shoe also feels a bit longer than most. I'm a 7.5W but I usually wear a 8 in mediums just fine. But in a 8 with these pumps I feel like my feet are floating in them, there's a good 3/4 inch of empty space behind my heel. The hammered texture is a little better than I expected. There's a circular pattern throughout. "

perfect shoe
" VERY COMFY! That's the second thing I noticed after I put it on, the first was the craftsmanship. I like the intricate details and it doesn't look cheap. However the leather is a bit stiff and the color on the beige is a bit weird. Not too nude not too pink. I haven't tried walking in it long distance yet but it feels very sturdy. I think the way the bottom of the heel is shaped + the padding inside + the height is just perfect so that you don't even feel like you're in heels, but it's high enough to look sexy. I'm a 7.5W but since there's no wide size, I usually go up to 8 in mediums and put some footpetals in the shoe to make it more snug. I didn't have to do this for this shoe, because of the mary jane strap that keeps my foot nice and snug already. And I like the way the front edge of the shoe opening doesn't cut into your toes like many other MJ shoes do. "

Not worth the money
" Pros:
Very rich color
Good leather, great smell
soft edges, doesn't scrap or blister top/sides of feet
Cons:
sole of shoe has no padding, not comfortable at all
the arch is a bit too high
BIGGEST PROBLEM: after wearing for a few hours, the black lining of the shoe dyed my feet black, very black.
Overall I'm giving it 3 stars, and that's being generous considering the price. And honestly the red colored shoe doesn't look very impressive in person (I have a fair skin tone). I think I would've been happier choosing the mustard or green color. For a brand that's so prestigious they should really work on comfort level as much as their craftsmanship/material. "

nice leather, fairly comfy
" I got these in wide. My feet are slightly wide, in between reg and wide shoes usually. However, the strap goes right in front of where the wide area of my feet begins so my toes look a bit choked and I feel it sort of makes my feet look wider. The plastic buckle also looks a lot lighter than in the picture, a sage green which makes doesn't really enhance the shoe but rather makes it look cheaper. On the site the buckle looks metallic. However, it is fairly comfortable to walk in especially for the height. It's very adjustable so the straps will fit a variety of feet, mine are very thin with narrow ankles and have a problem usually with straps looking loose, but didn't have that problem with these shoes. The color, quality, and softness of the leather is also very good and will probably only become more comfortable with more wear time. "
