Not what I expected
" Ordered these in both cognac and black and was very disappointed with them. I got a Madden Girl boot last year that I LOVE, but these seem to be of a much poorer quality. They look cheaply made right out of the box, the heel angle was too high to be comfortable, and they did not sit nicely on my calves - they looked very clunky. The cognac is a very nice color, but I will be returning these.

Finally!
" After a lot of issues trying to find a great pair of riding boots, I have found them! I love the color, shaft height, and straps on these boots. They look fantastic and I'm excited to wear them this fall and winter. I have a 15.5ish athletic calf and these are definitely snug on my larger right calf, but I could get them zipped over skinny jeans. I'm hoping they'll stretch a bit with time. Comfy to walk in and will go with so many different outfits!

Great for really wide calf
" I ordered these in an 8 and that was definitely too tight, so they seem to run small as I never have issues with sizing. The wide calf is definitely wide, but is too wide for my calf and I'm going to try and squeeze into the regular instead!
I love the color and criss-crossing straps at the bottom. It also comes up to a nice spot just below my knee, which is always an issue for us shorter ladies! If you size up, it's a great option for those who are definitely into wide calf territory, not for those of you who are borderline.

Sizing Matters!
" I am reviewing these for the size that I ordered - not the size would have exchanged for had I tried a 2nd time.
I ordered these boots after looking at several online. I am a size 8 and have never had an issue with sizing previously. These were WAY too tight with even just a regular sock on. They also seemed tight from the top down - the top of my foot felt squished. The wide calf also ended up being too wide for my leg, but they were snug enough that the regular would have been far too tight (and the reason I didn't try another size/width). The booths look fabulous though and seemed very well-made. However, I returned them because they were uncomfortable and didn't fit well. "

Comfy, attractive boot
" I had been searching for a nice pair of gray boots, and these fit the bill! They are very comfortable and fit my athletic calves well. I haven't worn them for a whole day yet, but they were comfy for the time I had them on.
4 stars because they do tend to slip down a bit and I wish there were an option to remove or tighten the belt beyond what is available. It keeps slipping down - I may just punch another hole or two in it. "
