Awesome boot, but not for my calves
" I decided to try these after reading the reviews for both the regular and wide width versions of these boots, but realized I should've went for wide width. My calves are 14.5" at the widest part and these couldn't zip up my bare legs. Other than that, the material feels very soft and comfortable and the foot fits comfortably perfect for my regular size 7. "

Great boots, but narrow foot
" I am 5'4, size 7 with 14" muscular calves, and have been hunting for the perfect riding boots.
Pros:
-calf fits perfectly with tights or bare legs, but can be a tiny bit tight with jeans
-awesome material, semi-cushy inner lining, nice leather, has a structured shape to it that holds itself (I've been hoping to avoid boots that wrinkle at the ankles, but realized it's sort of impossible with my more muscular calves)
-very nice cognac color
-sole that isn't too thin, too hard, or too flat
Cons:
-they're the type of wide calf boots that fit nice around the widest part of the calf, but flare out a bit too much at the very top of the shaft
-the foot is super narrow for me (I am neither wide width or narrow-footed); shoe pinches my smallest toes and my heels; I recommend sizing up at least half a size if possible
-been trying to break them in to see if I can solve the above problem, but having a hard time doing so; made the mistake of wearing them out the first chance I got so now I cannot go back to exchange/return :(
Make sure to try them well before keeping!! "

Nice rainboots, but not for wider calves
" I am 5'4 with 14" calves and it was insanely hard to pull these off my legs (like some people have said, you seriously might need somebody to help you yank it off). So I only recommend these boots for those with thinner calves.
Other than that, the rubber was nice and not shiny plastic like most rainboots, but I didn't like the hanging flap, which I was hoping would be stuck flat against the boot but wasn't. "

Cute rainboots, although narrow in the toe
" I'm usually a size 7 and my feet aren't wide width or narrow, but these rainboots are narrow at the toe and hurt after a full work day's wear, so I recommend sizing up a half size if possible. Other than that, they are very cute, and the buckle makes it look less like regular plain rubber rainboots. The insides have a soft lining that keeps you warm. The soles did slide around very easily after a couple of wears, so I switched them out.
I am 5'4 and they rise up to right under my calf. The hidden width can look pretty wide for slimmer legs, especially when they open up automatically while you walk, but they work well for my wider calves. Overall I love these rainboots and recommend them for anyone who are looking for calf-length rainboots. "
