"I have terrible feet. They blister and bleed all the time, I had to have bunion surgery on both, and I'm flat footed. Sandals from this brand are some of the few in my closet that I can look at without wincing. These are exceptionally comfy, and exceptionally pretty. I always get comments on the floral sandals from Italian Shoemakers. I love walking and travel and these last all day without hurting. I buy one every summer or two. That said, YOU MUST SIZE DOWN. I am a 9, but I have to get an 8 in Italian Shoemakers. The straps stretch to accommodate your foot which is lovely but will mean slipping out of the shoe if you wear your normal size. Seriously, size down."
"I have horrible feet. My skin is paper thin, ripping and blistering in a heartbeat, inevitably leaving blood in all my shoes. I had to have bunion surgery on both my feet-- when I was 21. And I'm flat footed. SO, SpringStep is a godsend. I love walking and travel and I can wear these all day without limping. They are lightweight and cushiony--literally springy. Then the adorable vintage style is just a big plus. I've bought these several years in a row, and you MUST size down, an 8.5 fits perfectly and I'm usually a 9. Huge thumbs up for this shoe and this brand. Highly recommended. Thanks Spring Step!!"
"Cons: Runs narrow. I'm a normal 9, and I couldn't wear these with proper socks. Worst of all: these crunch my outermost toes (curling them inward). That means this shoe is a bunion and hammertoe causer! Pros: soft material; perfect, practical heel height (2 3/5"); rubber sole; light and springy step. (Also looks great) Conclusion: I want to try again in a larger size to see if the narrowness is less severe. As is, I can't recommend these to anyone without very narrow feet. Perhaps try sizing up."

MUST SIZE UP. NOT OVER THE KNEE FOR TALL WOMEN.
"Cons: You must half-size up. I got the 9.5 and it fit my sz. 9 feet perfectly. Also: This is not really an over-the-knee boot-- granted I'm taller than average, but the tip of the cuff doesn't cover my knee cap totally, just 2/3 of it. I'm 5' 8" so if you're any shorter you should be fine, if you're taller, just be aware . Pros: I love the material (nice and thick), love the style (sleek, classic), love the heel (2" = perfect). Great quality. Other Comments: The sole, like most crown vintage shoes, is hard and wooden-like, and not rubbery or springy. Conclusion: I wouldn't pay over a hundred for them, but they're a good deal at the DSW price. I'm happy with them!"
