Cute vintage shoe
" I was hesitant to buy these shoes because they are very unique, but I really do like them. I've only worn them once so far, and got a ton of compliments! However, as the day wore on, these shoes got more uncomfortable, and I couldn't wait to get them off. It wasn't the heel (trust me, I've worn my share of heels), it was the fact these run a tad bit narrow in the toe area and the back of my left foot got a blister rubbing against the shoe. I'm crossing my fingers that these will get better with a little more wear since these are adorable otherwise.

great shoe, but a little high
" I love Chinese Laundry shoes, and I was looking for a cute new wedge for summer, so I got the black ones (and the price is right!).
Wearing them around the house they seemed fairly comfortable so I decided to wear them to out to dinner the next night. Now, let me just say I am used to wearing high heels, but these were just a tad too high to wear comfortably. Also, there is a felt bottom on this show that makes you slip on smooth surfaces if you aren't careful (who puts stuff like that on shoes??). Needless to say, walking the two blocks to the restaurant made for some awkward and slow walking, as if I had never worn shoes before.
Maybe I just need to get used to them more. They are super cute, but maybe I won't wear them when I need to walk for long periods of time.

Great boot!
" Ok, I actually purchased these at the DSW store and not online, but I figure since the shoe is the same, it doesn't matter. I was actually on my way out with another pair of boots I wasn't all that thrilled about when I walked past these shoes in black. I frantically tried them on...and they are wonderful. SO SO comfortable; so don't let the size of the heel fool you. They are also incredible warm and soft, as they are fur lined. It may not be necessary to even wear socks or tights with these, but I found upon trying on loads of different clothing styles that they look great with tights, dark wash jeans, and skirts. I am picky and deducted a star because in my opinion they don't look that great with several of my skinny jeans and since my collection of skinny jeans has grown in the last year, I may be slightly limited in what I can pair this shoe with. However, I purposely bought these for those chilly fall days when you still want to wear skirts but need a warm shoe to even things out, but I am thinking you can easily transition these into an early winter boot before heavy snows come (anyone in Chicago knows what I'm talking about!). What also rocks is that this company uses recycled and earth-healthy materials to make all their shoes. So you can save the Earth and look great at the same time!!
