Conceptually perfect....but
" Bernie Mev makes a great walking shoe, and this flatform style is on trend. I ordered them thinking I would have one in every color, and I could finally terminate my summer sneaker search.
I ordered a size 38, (which is a 7.5,8, in most European sizes, in Bernie Mev-land, its a size 7). I returned them. Ordered a 39, which was also at least a size too small. Finally, I ordered a size 40. They were too big. I rest my case, this shoe and I weren't meant to be.
Moral of the story: this doesn't wear like your typical slip on, Order at least one size up. Oh, and this shoe isn't for wide-footed individuals.
This shoe does have decent qualities: it's hellah trendy, lightweight, and looks great with a pair of high-waisted black denim flares. That is, if you can rest on a size that fits without percussing your toes or flying off the back of your heels. "

Love the look of these, sized wrong
" I had been looking for a pair of wide-strapped slides that weren't Birkenstocks, and I loved the look of these. I wear an 8.5 normally, so I ordered down, a size 8. Trying them on, they were (no joke) at least two sizes too big. Perhaps this is a unisex sandal? There is no indication that this is the case, but I think we're dealing with men's sizing here. Really disappointed. Returned.

" Why these shoes are right: Black wedge sneakers are all the rage right now. The ecru stitching is a nice contrast for the black suede, and this shoe is slimmer than most wedge sneakers which supports a more streamlined appearance. Why these shoes are wrong: THERE IS NO EASY WAY TO TAKE THEM ON OR OFF. A side zipper is imperative and this shoe has none. The construction of the shoe is a bit slapdash, and looks a bit cheap. The shoe laces are rigid and mine came frayed (again, cheap construction). Returned. <sigh>
