Scuffed on Arrival & Poor Quality

" I was super disappointed when I opened the box and pulled out these boots.
1) Immediately, you could tell the quality of the boot was low. The material of the boot was thin, flimsy and crinkly.
2) The boots looked scuffed and marked up. The seams were especially poor quality - it looked like the glue was seeping over the edges. It also looked like the shoes had been worn previously because the soles were not shiny and new looking (like one would expect).

Overall, I was not happy with this shoe/boot experience. However, the return went smoothly. DSW customer service at my preferred location is still top-notch!

Not Wide Calf Enough
" I got some chunky calves, and these boots were not wide calf enough for me. I just barely got them zipped, and I was concerned about tearing the zipper or side eventually. This was sad since I really liked the look of them.

Perfect Casual Look
" This is my very first pair of Converse sneakers, and I love them!! They're the perfect shoe for a casual day of running errands or getting coffee/tea with friends on the weekends. They're the perfect neutral color that doesn't clash with anything I own. I would definitely recommend these to a friend looking for a pair of sneakers that aren't also gym shoes.

Cute & Fun!
" These are really cute shoes! When I first read the description and it mentioned a velcro closure, I was concerned. I'm not a huge fan of anything that uses velcro to maintain its closed position. But it's mostly there just to stabilize the top of the shoe; the zipper on the side does all the real work. A small warning, they're a little slick on non-carpeted surfaces, so be careful while wearing them in at first. Otherwise, I love the wedge bootie!

Cute pic, but not comfy
" I had high hopes for these boots when I saw them online. I loved the color and thought they would go with anything, very versatile boot. In person however, the material didn't look great, and the wear was even more disappointing. They felt too tight in the middle of my foot and they were hard on the inside, not at all comfy and easy to walk in. It was like there was something super stiff wrapped around my foot. Also, when I did walk, the buttons on the side would pop open ... booo.
In the end, I returned the boots. Sad and disappointed.

Good Boot but Slides Down
" I really like these boots. I have large calves and these fit perfectly around them which I really appreciate. My only complaint, and it's a small one, is that the boots' sides tend to slide down as the day goes by ... esp when I'm walking around. Which means they look a little bulgy/bunchy around my inner ankles. It doesn't look AS cute as they could if they just stayed upright and smooth on my legs (hope that makes sense).
Overall though, they're VERY comfy and the little wedge heel on it is just perfect to give you a little lift. I plan to get a lot of wear out of these boots.

Perfect Cold Weather Boot
" I have VERY wide calves and prior to buying these boots, I had been repeatedly disappointed by the tall boots I tried on at various shoe stores. They were always too narrow for my calves. When I read the reviews for these boots, I was very encouraged that they just might be wide enough ... and they are! The zipper up the back of the boot is my favorite feature, and it actually makes it easier to zip up the boot too. Initially they were SUPER tight, but after a couple of wears they've stretched just a bit.
I LOVE these boots! I wear them almost every day of the week. If you're a girl with very wide calves (like myself), these boots might be a winner for you too!
