More comfortable than expected
" I ordered these shoes online and was a little worried when I took them out of the box and felt how hard the shoe bed was. I decided to wear them today and brought along a pair of comfort shoes just in case they started hurting my feet. Well, they were fine. Super cute and stylish. I have wide feet and slightly heavy ankles, and they fit me perfectly. They might be a little loose on someone with very narrow feet. Not sure if going down half a size would make a difference in the width. If they had padded insoles I would give them 5 stars.

Super cute AND comfortable!
" As soon as I tried these on and walked around the store I was in love! The platform definitely offsets the incline of the high heels, and the white strap around the ankles gives support. The fact that they're real leather was the icing on the cake. They're my new favorite sandals!

Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous!
" I'm a late-comer to these boots since I just found them on the clearance rack. It looks like they're sold out online, but if you're lucky enough to see them in your local store, grab them! I never would have expected that I would fall in love with a pair of semi-biker or steampunk boots like this, but as soon as I tried them on I was hooked! I got them in black and they look exactly like the great picture a previous reviewer posted where she's rockin' them with black leggings. And soft? I can't stop touching them because the inside of the shaft is not the typical nylon lining but actually the soft sueded backside of the leather. My stepdaughter loved them too, so I called the store and the great staff held a pair of the two-toned brown ones for two days until she could pick them up! Love DSW!

VERY cute boots
" I'm glad I got these in person at my local DSW before I read some of the negative reviews because I have to disagree that the leather feels "fake" or "thin." If you're looking for stiff leather riding boots that stand up on their own, these are not it. But if you want something soft, supple and pliable, these are great. As others have mentioned, the zipper is just for show, but they pull on easily over skinny jeans or leggings with plenty of room. I usually wear a 7.5 but got them in an 8 so they'd slip on easier and I can wear them with or without socks. I learned a great trick a few years ago -- buy boots 1/2 a size too big and then put a cushy Dr. Scholl's pad in the footbed and just about any pair of boots will be super comfortable. As a previous reviewer said, the picture online looks a little darker than in person. The true color is really a rich cognac or what some people call luggage tan.

Quality boots
" These Jayden boots are super cute and well made, and I'm hoping they'll be comfortable, too. I just got them in smooth black leather, and the label says they were made in Brazil, so the leather is very good quality. I love the fact that the zipper (very sturdy) is on the outside instead of a traditional inside zipper. That gives it a modern look that can go casual with tucked-in jeans or leggings, or more classy with a skirt or dress. I'm 5'3" and they hit me right at the knee. I've recently lost weight (this time last year I never would have been able to zip them up over my calves) and I can just zip them up over my jeans now. I"m hoping the shaft might stretch just a little bit, since the leather is fairly soft. I'm a summer girl, but I can't wait to break these boots out as soon as fall gets here!
