Great basic dress shoe
" I had been searching for a gray pump to wear to work that was more of a traditional/neutral gray rather than a metallic. While I wasn't thinking of suede, this has a nice look to it, and the two different shades of gray make it versatile to go with both charcoal and light gray.
I had found that this brand runs short, so I sized up to a size 6 and that size seems to work for me. Most shoes are not particularly comfortable for me, and these were pretty standard - my feet hurt by the end of the day, so they are not the pair I'd reach for it I was going to be on my feet all day or doing a lot of walking. But they suit my needs and are comfortable enough for a desk job, so I am very pleased with the purchase!

Runs small, but a great basic shoe!
" I measure as a size 5 but usually wear 5.5 because I need a wider toe box. So, I rarely wear a size 6 except in boots. These shoes were absolutely too short right out of the box, which means they run a half to a whole size small. It was not tolerable at all (I rated comfort as average because it was hard to assess under the circumstances).
The shoe was cute, but nothing particularly special. I got the navy color and it looked like it would be a nice basic for work or to wear with a dress when I want the navy color. I'm reordering in a 6 and will know from now on to size up in this brand!

Not for petite women
" These boots were totally adorable in person and I had such high hopes. Unfortunately, the back is cut less than an inch below the front, and it came up above the fold in my knee.
I'm not sure why Audrey Brooke made them this way - if you have taller calves, the back will fit, but the front won't come over your knee - just perhaps up to the midpoint. With shorter calves, like mine, you can't really bend your leg completely while wearing them.
It was a shame because they were fabulous otherwise, especially the blue color (I tried both brown and blue)!

Yes, the bunching is a problem
" So the reviews said these bunch at the ankle. I thought, "how bad can it be?" and ordered them. Big mistake. The bunching appears to happen because the front of the boot is genuine leather, but is a bit thicker. As such, when the back stretch part is paired with it, it naturally pops out at the ankle. There was literally nothing I could do to eliminate the bunching. I showed my husband, who rarely has an opinion on anything fashion related, and he agreed they were a big thumbs down.
I was so disappointed because they were the perfect height in the back and front, the fit in the calf was perfect, and the leather had a very nice look to it. It was painful to return them but it had to be done.

Perfect winter basic!
" So many tights fall down during the day, or just are not comfortable to wear. These were a real upgrade from the pairs they replaced. The texture is soft, and other than being a bit long in the torso (a common problem since I am petite), they fit great. Great coverage too, for someone wanting a tight that is nice and opaque!

Great summer dress shoe
" I bought these shoes in black patent to wear to work during the spring and summer. The heel height and cushioning makes them comfortable and the look is quite professional, but the patent makes them a bit more noticeable and fun.
