Comfortable and casual

Great BOOTIE!
" I purchased the black Steve Madden arper bootie last month and have been very pleased with it. After wearing several times, I can definitely say that it is a comfortable bootie, and easy to wear all day. The zippers both function well and I have not had any problems with the suede getting scuffed, although I have been careful not to wear this bootie in the rain, mud, etc. This boot looks great with jeans as well as skirts and dresses; it is very versatile. I have gotten several compliments on it. The wooden heel provides good contrast with the black bootie. Definitely a good purchase!

Great!
" I bought these shoes a few weeks ago to replace the other Steve Madden sandals I purchased last summer. I wanted something to encompass the strappy sandal, lace up trend, and also the low heel appealed to me. I am in high school, so an inch heel is ideal for school, church, parties, and hanging out. They can be dressy enough for a party or church, or casual enough for shorts and a shirt.
The laces are perfect, they are not too tight on my ankle, like some shoes I have tried on. There is also not too much lace that it takes away from the shoe; it is a part of the shoe, not the whole thing. One thing I will mention is that the straps on the sides of the foot can rub and scratch your foot a bit - I haven't gotten any marks but the first time I wore it it was a little uncomfortable. It's gotten steadily better each time I've worn them though. Just something to be aware of. Also, I love the braided straps - they add so much!
The value of the shoes are pretty good. They are also sold at Belk and Francesca's and here at DSW is the best value. Buy these shoes!!! They are worth it and you will not regret it!
