Great deal
" I just recieved my booties today and so far I love them! The quality seems great and I got them on sale for a price that seemed fantastic for a leather boot! I usually wear an 8 but the 7.5 seems to fit just fine...They may run a tad narrow but I have a fairly wide foot so the 8 might have fit better width-wise. Leather shoes usually get worn in a stretch a bit after a little use so I'm not worried about that.
As with another pair of boots I purchased, the color does seem a bit lighter in person. I prefer the darker brown in the picture whereas the "Tobacco" color I ordered are more of a darkish tan. Still adorable and can't beat the quality for the price for sure! Can't wait to wear them!! "

Not good for high arches/taupe not as pictured
" I was so excited to receive these boots and I really wanted to love them! The first thing I noticed is the color is a bit lighter than what is depicted in the picture. It is more of a grey/brown taupe color. I wasn't too impressed. They looked a bit cheap in person. Also, you don't get a good idea of the angle of the top of the boot shaft from the picture provided. It is more extreme than what it looks like. Not a deal breaker but I was a bit disenchanted with the color.
Also, and most importantly...if you have high arches like me, you may find it difficult (ie impossible) to get your foot into the boot. There is no zipper so I tried to force my foot in to no avail. I believe my high arches inhibited that.
Overall, for a faux leather boot at a decent price, someone might like these..afterall wide calf boots are sometimes hard to come by. I just was not impressed and will be returning mine.
