Disappointing.

" I'm so disappointed. I wanted to love this shoe. I desperately need this shoe. But I can not. I am going to have to return it. It looks great off my feet. But once I put it on it looks ridiculous. You can't see in the shoe photos, but the top of the shoe weaving leaves a hole on either side of the almond toe. This leaves a peep hole for my big toe and it looks ridiculous. Also, I've never worn a style of shoe like this so maybe I just didn't know but I was not expecting a flip flop effect. Every step I took the heel flops down like a flip flop. This has nothing to do with the length of the shoe as one review had lead me to believe. The heel just did not stay on my foot (I don't have skinny feet, if anything I have wide feet)...perhaps it's not meant to, but it proves challenges to walk if your foot doesn't slide right in to place. The quality seems nice, maybe it will work on other feet not shaped like mine :(

I keep trying to like them: they are cute! But they are just too hard to walk in :(

I keep swinging and missing with my online orders, so I'm hoping my review can help others. I'm just gonna have to go in stores I think. "

Way too slippery: Unwearable!

" I read some reviews saying this was a slippery shoe and I wish I had taken it more seriously! It's not just the bottom of the sole, but actually where your foot comes in to contact with the shoe that is so slick you can't walk! The black sling is a nice soft feeling fabric and I wanted to love the shoe, but the sole not only functions poorly(slippy and thin), but looks cheap too. I'm returning this and still hunting for black summer shoes :( Super disappointed. "
