Cute, but too tall

" I liked these boots, but they were just too tall on my calf. I'm 5'2" and I felt they swallowed up too much of my leg. I ordered the taupe color because another reviewer said they were more gray which is what I wanted (I've been struggling to find a gray combat boot!). The color wasn't right but that's not a reflection on the quality or the description of the boot. I ordered taupe and that's what I got. I will need to return. "
