Very comfortable
" I bought three riding boots online, and this pair won after trying them on. It feels a little snug in the calf, but it may stretch out after a few weeks. I've worn it multiple times where I've walked around for a few hours and it has not caused any foot distress. It is very comfortable and fashionable. The only thing I would change about this boot, is that the zipper pull on the back hits against the zipper and makes a slight noise that you don't hear with other boots that have smaller zipper pulls - a very minor annoyance. I would definitely recommend buying these boots, and may even look for them in brown for myself! "

Larger heel
" I bought three pairs of black riding boots online to try them on at home, and I didn't even try this one on. I loved the buckle, but the heel was too high for what I was looking for. Because it is a chunky heel, the 1 3/4 inch heel reminded me of my bad fashion choices in the '90s. This is a great boot if you are looking for a slightly higher heel height. "

Very plain
" I bought three pairs of black riding boots online to try them all on at home, and this one almost wasn't even tried on because it was so plain looking. I liked the somewhat pointed toe, but there was nothing else special about it. If there was one buckle even, I would have debating on keeping it. "
