Learning about shoes for the wide footed
" I am not generally a brand person. I just try shoes until I find ones I like. Recently, I was looking for a new pair of sneakers and went to a department store and tried on about 6 pairs. Each pair I tried had something that wasn't just right (partly because of my wide duck feet). I was cautious and decided to not make a purchase even though the shoe rep was very helpful and I wanted to buy just to return the favor. Next day we went to another couple stores looking for shoes. This was the first pair I got. At another location I got another pair of Sketchers. Apparently Sketchers are made for people with wide feet, because both pairs fit great and are very comfortable. If they hold up to wear, I'm going to be a lifetime Sketchers fan.
