OOOOOUCH!!! O_O Why?
" Why is this shoe so uncomfortable???? I wore this to work today, but I had a ride from near the entrance to where I live. So far, the shoes seemed "okay" to walk in, that was until I got to work and had to walk a few blocks in it. I had no idea these would be so uncomfortable. My toes burnt and nderneath my feet ached and ache so much that I literally could not wait to get them off my feet. I wanted to take them off and walk bare feet in the streets, that is how bad they hurt. Sadly, I bought these shoes about 4 Months ago and I NOW decided to wear them. I kept looking at it because it is so cute and unique, but wearing them was not worth it....at all. I wear a size 9.5w or 10m, I got the 10 and it fit fine, but again...TOO UNCOMFORTABLE. I absolutely cannot wear these home, I will have to wear my sneakers. I have 4 inch calvin klein heels that are MUCH MORE comfortable than these.
Cute, BUT....
- not enough cushion
- instep not deep enough.
- hard shoes
- Very uncomfy to walk in
- hurts my feet within 30 minutes of walking
- walking on the streets with this shoes is agonizing.
- I will attempt to return these.

waterproof...who knew?
" I had to take the time out to write this review because I was stunned. I went into dsw on the hunt for some snow boots to get me through the icey snowy slush - I then saw these. Not what I usually buy but change is good. I needed a practical boots with traction for the icey slush. So I saw these, tried it on and they fit great. I usually where 9.5W or 10M. I got these in 10M and it works. Upon wearing it out in the slush, and purposely dipping my feet in 5-7 inches of snow, my feet were fairly warm and completely dry. But I also brough waterproof spray for so I don't ruin the boots over time. I wear a thick wool socks for warmth too. The boots has a slightly slouchy look, but it actuall stands up straight on or off the feet despite the slouch design. These boots are great if you want a nice causual look to take you through the rain and snow until you find a great solid winter boots. This is something very handy to have. Looks really are deceiving. "

3 stars for potential
" Like another reviewer stated, the heels on this aren't so good. The heel on mine wasted away in a little over 1 month. And a bunch of creases in the front of the boots, not pretty...already looks old. 3 stars for potential. Other than that, it's comfy with great arch support. I wear a 9.5W, but in boots, i get away with a 10M. I got a 10M in these. I'm big on quality stuff, and this boots had me fooled for a bit. It had potential though - it looked really nice at first, but after a few wears, i realize the quality is not so great. No...bandolino... "

Quality = "yuh get what yuh pay for"
" Quality, check.
Style, check.
Color, check.
Material, check (smooth supple leather).
Comfort, ok. Just make sure you don't where a sock that is too thin, nor too thick, because that depends greatly on whether this boots will burn your toes (sock too thick), or have your feet sliding around to the point it's annoyingly uncomfy (sock too thin). Otherwise, great boots. Great arch support. I get compliments when i wear it. I usually where a 9.5W, but in boots, i get away with a 10M. So in this boots, i got a 10M, it's great. I where these with skirts and stockings, fitted sweater dresses or fitted skinny ponte pants and sweaters. I wear the sweater fitted and tucked in to the pants, or baggy and hanging over. I'm a happy camper with these black franco sarto celeste. Still hunting for a cognac riding boots.

Cheap "ting" no good...
" Like another reviewer stated, this item is cheaply made, and indeed, it is. I do not like the rugged materiel leather. The leather is also too thin to the touch - does not feel nice and thick at all. The color is too light, which adds to the cheap look. I was planning to where this on Christmas day, but i prefer not to know what will happen to this boots when i start wearing it. I will be returning asap. 2 stars for the style, the fit and the comfort...everything else needs improvement. This doesn't look like it will last. If you are not big on quality, then this boots is for you. But if you like high quality stuff that also looks like it, then this boots isn't for you. I'm so disappointed. My search for a nice cognac riding boots continues. "
