Not for healthy size calves
" Trying to be nice here. I was born with big calfs or calves. That's always been a problem when I buy tall boots. It's not necessarily a weight problem, it's just the shape of my legs. These boots were not designed with a built in expansion. Some boots have a small area of elastic where the zipper is near the upper portion of your calf muscle. Not these. I tried to think could if I could tolerate the tightness if I had them on all day. I said "no". Sending back. Very cute though!

Still good but...
" This is a good shoe. Due to the support it offers, it will cause the show to feel narrower and short. I would recommend at minimum go up 1/2 a size. I did find them comfortable of sorts but keep wishing if they were a 1/2 size larger they would be perfect. I do run and these would not make good for running. I bought as an alternative shoe to work out in when I am not running. I am returning these and see if I can get a larger size.

Order up
" Cute shoe/sneaker. Sadly due to the round toe, it was short on my left foot. I would recommend going up a 1/2 size especially if you are planning to wear thick socks. I will be returning them.

Pretty but...
" I thought based on the picture this shoe would be comfortable as a high heel. Well not the case. The top part that goes over your toes is quite stiff. No flexibility at all. I will be returning.

Pricey but worth it!
" Normally I would not buy a pair of shoes that could only be worn during the summer at this price point. I justified the cost by saying these shoes would go with many items in my closet. I was so right! These shoes are wonderfully comfortable. They also come with an extra set of lower heel inserts in case the ones attached get worn down. The makers of the shoes must have known these will get worn alot. They will be by me. Go ahead and buy them. They are worth it and use your coupons!

I wish....
" I wished I could have clicked the heels on these shoes but alas that only works for Dorothy. I've had an odd relationship with Bandalinos. Love their styles but for some reason they run narrow or feel tight on my feet. I don't have this issue with other shoes. When I saw them it was love at first site! I got the electric blue which was perfect for the outfit I had in mind. When I tried them on, I felt the squeeze and sadly realized they were going to have to go back. I searched the store to see if they had the same color and wider. No luck. Bought another brand similar color.

What a boot!
" After reading the other reviews, I was quite worried these boots would not fit. I normally do not like to order shoes on line. I visited a local DSW and unfortunately their boot selection was very minimal. I "caved in" and ordered. Well whaddya know...they fit. In fact they fit beautifully. I too have big calves and I was able to zip them up with no problem. I even had on skinny jeans and there was no struggle. The rugged bottom sole makes these boots quite comfortable to walk in on any type of surface. One reviewer mentioned the lace up is for "show only". She was right but they do not interfere with the style or comfort. I recommend these boots. No issue with narrowness. I received many many compliments on them.

Good to great shoe
" This is a good shoe. Padding is great. You will not feel the ground as you walk unlike pumps. I am noticing some slight compression on top however it may be due to the trouser socks I have on. This is a great shoe for comfort yet gives you the height you need for slightly longer pants. Looking forward to keeping them on all day.
