perfect boot
" I've been wanting a pair of rain boots for a while, but could never commit to a style. These boots are so classy! They are great fitting( I'm typically an 8.5 and I got an 8.) They aren't extra lined for warmth but I find them too be little warm, probably because they are such thick rubber, so that's a bonus. If you wear thin socks the heel slides up a little, but with thicker socks they mostly stay put, but they're rain boots I kind of expected it a little. I got these to wear in nasty/melty winter weather when snow boots aren't appropriate but I wanted something cuter than old sneakers.

Too long for short feet
" My boyfriend has smaller feet, I was hoping to possibly shrink these in the wash. But when I got them I realized that these socks probably wouldn't shrink the way I wanted them too. THEY ARE NICE SOCKS! Medium-heavy weighted, not cheap or thin. I would recommend them as long as you aren't trying to do what I did.

Not what I hoped for
" I ordered an 8.5, my typical size(sold out of 8s). They were too big all around, a little long and wide. The heel also comes up really high in the back, and its slightly hard molded so its kind of bothersome. I figured after wearing them a while they would probably stretch out even more. The bottoms were a thinner hard plastic, I could envision myself actually slipping in these on my hardwoods. The overall size of this slipper is large and looks more like a bear claw/foot, that a cute little slipper. It's too bad, I was hoping they would work out. Not worth the $30 to keep em.

Great find!
" I have been searching for a pair of boots for over a year. I'm extremely picky, and have small calves. I wanted something with a shorter heel, with classic, simple detailing--this boot seemed to be the one. No big ugly hardware or extra stitching. I was unsure about ordering an 8 as I'm a safe 8.5, but thanks to my narrow feet the 8 fit like a glove. There is still some occasional pinching on the outsides of the toes, but I feel once the leather gets broken in it will be more comfortable. The foot portion of the boot is very stiffly molded. The brown leather is gorgeous, and of amazing quality, my boots had no discoloration and hardly any distressed appearance. As far as the shaft width, there is still a little room, even with tightening the top strap. But they don't "feel" big and don't slouch. I think that because the back seem is sewn on a curve (to accommodate for the natural calve shape) it accentuates the extra space. But I feel that again, once they get worn in the flatness of the being in the box and the appearance they have out of the box, will soon become more rounded looking, and less "wide" looking. I'm convinced I wouldn't find a boot I was happier with. I love these boots!
