A surprise indeed - killer heels and comfort too!
" I'm always looking for fashionable and comfortable shoes - usually you get one without the other, especially in heels.
These are stylish, get lots of positive comments and are 'all day' comfortable heels - a rare combination. (Of course, YMMV)

Cute Bootie that needs real laces
" These are cute and practical in a 'stiletto' sort of way.
The laces supplied are elastic - very stretchy elastic so the shoes don't want to stay on your feet. First order of business is to change out the elastic laces for real shoelaces or you'll be leaving your shoes behind as you walk...
I am not a 'bootie' sort of person although I have several pair... These will wait for an appropriate occasion.
Although the color is described as 'green' it's more a greenish gray - very neutral and will go with most anything.

I ordered the black ones and the red ones before they went out of stock - it's been my experience that really cute shoes don't stay available long...
Wore them a couple of times and the multiple positive comments were very gratifying. Although the heel is pretty high, the platform makes them OK for a day or night out.
Girls, if you're trolling for shoe compliments, these will do the trick! "

Cute but too small -
" Title says it all.. I ordered these on-line and when they arrived they felt at least a size too small...
That's not a problem if you're a size 8, you just get a Size 9...
For my size 11 tootsies in these stylish shoes, size 12 was not available. :(
Usually, Steve Madden shoes fit pretty true to size. Oh well... Order a size or so larger (or try them on in your retail store) before buying.

Red Hot and Sassy

" I've been trying to get out of the 'black shoe rut' for a while and these are just the ticket!
Excellent, bright primary red patent (synthetic) upper with a small contrasting black piping for interest. Combined with a black/red bodysuit and short black skirt these make a great outfit that garnered lots of compliments.
They go from casual black or bluejeans to elegant nights out without a whimper. A stunning high heel combined with platform make a fashion statement that you can still walk in all day without a lot of pain.
Only minor quibble: the patent upper color is a very thin layer on a white substrate and they scuff easily, showing the white layer prominently. If you get these, carry a felt-tip marker to camouflage any scuffing or scratches.
A great value ! Recommended~

My First Sling Backs - The Jury is Still Out

" A long long time ago in a faraway place, I decided I didn't care much for open- or peep- toe shoes. They just looked _wrong_ somehow. That didn't mean I wouldn't wear sandals - but open toe dress shoes were not my cup of tea.
Then I found a pair of peeps I thought were cute, and tried them on. I wasn't sure - it was a new departure for me after all these years of closed toe pumps, but I bought them anyway. When I finally got the fortitude to wear them, I got _lots_ of compliments. OK, peeps are now in my shoe closet and the earth hasn't quit spinning.
Now I'm at the same point with sling backs. This is my first pair and I've worn them out and about only once. Naturally, since my shoe closed is filled to the brim with black shoes, I couldn't buy these in a nice, conservative black, I got RED. And guess what? I get compliments on these, too. Maybe slingbacks are not such unmitigated evil after all.
And I have to admit, the angle of the slingback coupled with the heel height makes them seem even taller and makes my legs look great!. (Don't judge from the pix - I couldn't get an angle I liked before the camera battery pooped out.
So, here we are, my first (but probably not the last) slingbacks.
These particular shoes fit well (maybe they're a half-size larger than marked) and seem well-made. The only problem I found, purist that I am, is that the color of the upper doesn't quite match the color of the bottom - there's a tiny shade of difference that bothers me - but it only shows up under fluorescent lighting in my office. Oh well, I'll just have to stay outdoors.
My internal jury is still undecided, but the court of public opinion says 'yes' to these shoes. OK, fine by me! "

Hot Mary Jane - Casual to Elegant in Great Style

" Loved this shoe when I saw it at our local DSW store (Tigard, Oregon) but I already have waaay too many black shoes... So I went online and saw it in red, but sold out my size... sigh... So last Saturday on our weekly DSW junket I got a black pair - just too cute to pass up and I love the way MaryJanes look - plus the instep strap keeps them in place throughout the day.
Long story short - the day after I got these at the local store, the red ones were back in stock online - SCORE! . . . the goddess of shoes is smiling down on me :) I am ordering the red ones as we speak! (Maybe I'll get 2 pair - I will definitely be wearing these out and want to replace them)
Worn these (the black ones) one day so far - amazingly comfortable for such a tall heel, and the sizing is spot on. LOTS of Compliments on these - Steve Madden has done it again!

2-Hour Shoes - Very Hot!
" Found these at my local DSW store and _had_ to have them! Amazing heel, great style... Bought the taupe, they were out of black already in my size :( The box says they are style "P-Kyle" so I was confused when I found them to review on this site called just "Kyle" . . . oh well...
Realistically, because of the heel height, they are either "2-Hour" shoes or "Come over here and look at my shoes" shoes. In my size the heel is 6 inches and the angle is pretty steep - not 'comfy' by a long shot, but the hottest pair of shoes I have purchased in the last year! Definitely something to have on hand for that 'night at home entertaining' sort of thing.
Do not go to the mall for a day of shopping in these babies unless, as another reviewer has said, you have ballet training.
Do I sound undecided about them? well, yes I am... I'm wearing them and getting used to the feel but it's a mixed relationship. Would I by them in red if they weren't sold out? YES!

Special occasion glitter - This is the shoe!
" Stylish platform with an 'evening out' appeal - I got the black glitter color and it's very nice - I can dress them down with jeans or dress up with the LBD and these work stunningly. Black goes with everything and these elongate the legs wonderfully with a short-ish hemline.
The heels are a bit tall, so don't buy them unless you're already comfortable in heels - or set aside some time for practicing.
Steve Madden does great shoes and these could become another classic style. Get 'em before they're gone!

Style and Comfort - Great Shoes at a good price!
" I confess - I'm a sucker for heels and these are amazing - Very stylish yet comfortable for all-day wear...
I ordered the red ones online after seeing the style in taupe and black at the Tigard, Oregon brick and mortar DSW store, wore them one day and got tons of compliments - knowing a good thing when I find it, I immediately ordered them in blue... You have to strike when the iron is hot - you snooze, no shoes!
You may ask, OK sister, why not get the taupe and black also? Well, it's tempting but I already have a bazillion black pumps and need only a couple of neutrals (which I already have) but the 'other' colors are not prolific in my size... so I'm stocking up for when the right outfit materializes...
I ramble - oh well - anyhow, These are stylish, fun, comfortable, fairly well-made and very affordable - all great reasons to add them to your collection and wear whenever the mood hits - Highly recommended.
BTW, Online buying is fun but you really should try the retail stores if there's one nearby. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and often the stores get styles that are not available online.

Nirvana - A Comfortable Nosebleed Heel!
" I love the Mary Jane styling, and this shoe rocks!
I get oodles of compliments when I wear these, and they are amazingly comfortable for such a tall heel. I got the black ones and am considering getting the taupe also -(but with my size 11 feet, light colored shoes don't always look as 'cute'... )
I wish they made this style in RED! That would be 'da bomb'!
I'm probably going to buy a second pair of the black color to stash in the closet for when I wear these out... I love them!

Another pair of head-turners from DSW
" Had to have these as soon as I saw them - bought a pair in black at the store - they were very comfy when I tried them on but after a couple of hours my little tootsies cried out for freedom..... seemed the toe area was a bit cramped...
So I put them away and tried again when that memory faded... and again the pain, but not so bad. At this rate, they'll soon be stretched to fit properly. As others have said, a bit more room in the toe would be nice.
These look incredible and elongate the leg very nicely - I get multiple compliments when I wear them... Relatively easy to walk in because of the platform, but like any platform, be careful on gravel or uneven ground. A style from the 20's or 30's that is making a revival now. I think this may become a new classic style! "Betty Boop Shoes" maybe?

Affordable accent color
" I got these in the light magenta color to coordinate with a top I never got a chance to wear until now. The shoes are well made, have a relatively low heel that's easy to walk in and quite stable. The toe accent / contrast leather adds interest.
I found them on sale at my local store and am very happy with the shoe and the price.

Hot Sandals - Vicarious Review
" These are really nice sandals but they seem to run a bit small - perhaps almost a full size small in my estimation. I usually wear a 10 or 11 and I couldn't get my foot into the size 10 shoe at all. It's not available in an 11, so I'm out of luck.
Nice ankle strap detail, a bit delicate but seemed well-constructed.

Sexy heels at an affordable price - YES!
" This is a great season for those of us who crave heels - and this shoe delivers a lot of value!
These are well made and a great bargain for the DSW price. The lacing sets them apart from run of the mill pumps and I get a LOT of positive compliments when I wear them. I first got the black color and after trying them for a week returned to DSW and purchased the gray/pewter/metallic/whatever color it is - and that color is wonderful for dressy evening events. Highly recommended, either way...
I was concerned that the fabric tie would not be durable or might slip out easily but it's folded and hemmed at the end to prevent that. Nice feature!
Beware though, if you're not a 'heel' person, these are pretty high and all-day wearing is definitely tiring on the tootsies. It's worth it!

Style and Comfort - Wow!
" I saw these in our local DSW store in black suede and grabbed them in a heartbeat. Sky-High heel with a platform and nicely rounded toe with a little toe cleavage, these are perfect FM shoes. Surprisingly comfortable to walk in, and a real magnet for compliments. At only $60, these are a tremendous bargain.
I bought similar Steve Madden pumps in leopard pattern cowhide and paid over $100 - and these Zigi Soho's are more comfy!
I wish shoe manufacturers made more size 11's - I could only get these in black - the tan colored ones were sold out in my size online in abut 20 nanoseconds, and weren't in the store at all.. Grrr.
Oh well, I should be happy with what I have - gorgeous black suede killer heels... but I'm always wanting More!

Animal Print Madness - Love it!
" These Zebra-print MaryJanes are really cool. I already had a pair of Zebra Print heels but ordered these too - you know how it is, never enough shoes. I loved them when they arrived, but the monthly shoe expenditure allowance coupled with Christmas Holiday buying left me way short of funds, so sadly I had to return these. I rationalized that one pair of Zebra pumps would have to suffice, at least until January. These will go with anything - the blue instep strap is a great accent and lets you color-coordinate with almost anything. Very comfy for a heel this high, I'm sure they'd be 'all day' shoes on the "Carla Scale of Shoe Comfort"

Warm, Comfy and Fashionable - Perfect
" These fleece lined boots are the bomb! I get lots of compliments while wearing them and they are extremely comfortable for long periods and they're warm and toasty to boot. Highly recommended.
They are fabric, not leather so they probably aren't as durable as one would like, but at this price I can afford several pair to store in the closet. I gave the first pair a good coating of ScotchGuard and they shed water nicely. Treat yourself to a pair of these - Yummy! "

Lots of compliments!
" I wore these for the first time today and got lots of compliments. Very high heel, but the platform makes the effective heel height about 3 3/4 inches - no problem! The design gives good ankle support so walking on gravel or irregular surfaces is not as treacherous as with some other platforms - but still, be careful! It takes a while to fasten and unfasten all the buckles, but that's one part of the price we pay for such glamorous accessories. These looked wonderful paired with an above-knee skirt, I'll try them with jeans when I get a pair with the correct length and flare.

Not for the Timid
" An amazing gladiator sandal that turns heads wherever I go - Girls, be careful, these may cause small traffic accidents and whiplash injuries from their head-turning style! I'm known for my 'dress to thrill' style and this shoe does the job, Yes indeed! So far I've worn them only one day and been stopped abput 15 times with comments like "Wow, cool shoes" and "Oooh! where did you get those?" (I hate that - LOL!) I bought them in both brown and black and they're going to get worn a lot this summer - I can go anywhere wearing them, and you can match them with anything from short skirts to flared jeans or capri-length tights. The faux leather material keeps them affordable, and being so strappy there's no problem with letting my tootsies breathe as there might be with a closed shoe. After a couple of hours wearing these I felt a little rubbing on one toe that was a bit distracting, but the reaction to these shoes is worth a little discomfort. Easy on and off with the back zipper, they fit pretty much true to size. They have a bit of a higher heel, so if you're not acclimated to the altitude, be sure to bring a pair of flats to switch with when your feet get tired.
