I ordered the beige
" I ordered these in size 11 (my size) in beige August 2013. They fit very well, but they lack padding for the bottom of the foot so it feels like I'm walking on a hard wooden surface (a trend I find with all the boots I have bought from DSW so far, unfortunately); however, they bend with the foot like they should. As a solution, I buy Dr. Schols inserts that have a plastic arch with padding that starts at the heel and ends at the ball of my feet. It works well! Also, there are two stiff places on the top of the boot-that line sewn across the toes, and the most uncomfortable (but tolerable) is the immovable strip across the top of the foot, just opposite from the arch. Additionally, the dyes from the internal flag design bleeds into ones socks (example in picture), but it washes out nicely. Anyway, these boots are very stylish and cute. I've received compliments on them too. I like them, they are just not as comfortable as I would like them to be. "

Too big
" My foot size is 11, so I ordered these boots in size 11 black. The boots were in great condition, but when I put them on they were a size TOO BIG... For size 11!(never happens for these mammoths lol) Also, they were not exactly the style I was looking for because they looked too masculine and handsome (somewhat clunky) as opposed to a cute woman's shoe that had a slight pioneer touch. In other words, their fashion statement was too strong for what I was looking. Lastly, all the boots I've ordered including these have not had good padding for the bottom for the shoe, making them feel like I'm walking on a hard wooden surface. To counteract this effect, I buy Dr. Schols inserts that begin at my heel and end at the ball of my feet; they also have a plastic arch support. I love them. Considering all, I exchanged theses boots for different "booties." "
